  Ellen in the leasing office is touched in the head. The few times I have called to bring up minor concerns or questions where she has spoken over me and REFUSES to listen to the problem before spouting off what she assumes is the answer. We have had issues with the apartment complex in the last 6-8 months of them no longer having Michelle in the office. EXIBIT A: I have inquired about my rent going up over $200 in 4 months and wanted to know what charges had changed. Ellen talks over me and says it’s because she sees I have a dog and a garage added to the rent. I had to wait until she was finished talking out of her ___ to say that we have always had the garage and dog from day one. She then said “Well it had to be the water then..” EXIBIT B: I go to Walmart to make a cash payment for rent and used the account number provided , which ended up not working. We (me and the lady from Walmart) called the leasing office and, of coarse, Ellen picks up. We needed to figure out what company we’re paying through and Ellen replies “Grand Oak Apartments.” The lady at Walmart got frustrated because she asked Ellen if she realized how many GRAND OAKS there are in AMERICA?!!! We later discovered its Wisps after having the generous lady at Walmart go through the entire list. EXHIBIT C: I recently noticed the trash amenity we pay for each month is not picking up the as stated. I have noticed them choosing what trash they’d take and leaving the rest. I called the leasing office to confirm pick up days, times and what all they need to pick up. As I TRY to explain to Ellen that my two bags left IN the bin on a Wednesday night was not picked up, she decided to talk over me to say it’s because I need to make sure my bin is not on the ground or that I’m not breaking down my “large” boxes. NEVER DID I SAY I HAD LARGE BOXES! (They’re pizza boxes) My advice is to speak directly to management when Ellen is in office. She would rather tell you that everything you’re doing is wrong and not resolve your problems. Oh, and the roach and ants reviews are 1000% true. I was stunned first year when roaches started coming from the base boards and walls. Other than that these apartments are great

  Excellent Service – Highly Recommended I had a great experience at Grand Oak in Smyrna. The assistant manager, Janeka, provided outstanding service and professionalism. She helped me with an important document that I needed in order to renew my driver’s license, and she made the entire process smooth and stress-free. Janeka was very attentive, kind, and patient, taking the time to make sure everything was done correctly. Her willingness to help and positive attitude truly made a difference. Thank you very much, Janeka, for your excellent service. I truly appreciate your help and highly recommend this location.

  We had an amazing experience with Janeka. She made the application process incredibly simple and walked us through every step, which really took the stress out of everything. She also gave us an amazing tour of the apartment. She’s kind, friendly, and such a pleasure to work with.
