HONEST REVIEW- I would not recommend this apartment to anyone. In 3 years the experience has gone downhill. It seemed so nice when we moved in, but as the months go by it only gets worse and worse. We were lied to right off the bat, as we had concerns of pests, particularly spiders, when we moved in. We were promised there were no spiders on the property. The day we moved in we found brown recluses on the walls. Management didn’t help, so we had to buy our own means of pesticide. Since then we’ve had problems with ants, roaches, flying gnats that come in from the laundry room, and MICE. We found horrible black mold growing in our air unit from previous tenants and we had to clean it ourselves. That’s another thing we were lied to about- MOLD! Mold grows everywhere. Walls, carpet, bathroom. We clean constantly but it still grows. The laundry takes $6 from you every time you use it and takes days to go back in your account. The location is amazing, but apartment is old and outdated. Built in the 60’s. Was ruined from all the blasting when they built 440 40 years ago. There are cracks everywhere, doors that won’t shut, and the floors are slanted. They give you the landlord special- paint over what you can’t fix. Most recently maintenance was in our unit to fix our freezer that comes on very loud for 30 mins at a time (been happening for 4 months.) He left our fridge off when he left (an honest mistake but a huge problem, $100s groceries went bad.) And when we brought it up to management we were met with a rude response and offered no apology or way of fixing it. Wild. See pictured- our tub chipping paint, mice, wood chips in every drawer, mold. $1300? Try $13.
