- MMMLBGirlyOct 13, 20252.0This apartment complex is just minimally OK. Pros: It’s a quiet community. It is convenient to several close eateries and shopping centers. The elementary and middle school in the area are pretty good. Cons: It sits on a busy street and the noise level, depending on where your complex is, is very bad. They self bill for sewage and water and overprices it tremendously. Whatever you are quoted for rent, you can look to pay an additional $200 or more in sewer, water and other fees. The complex lacks adequate parking so good luck finding a parking spot close to your unit. The pool is rarely open, and when it is, it’s normally nasty or filled with duck feces. Definitely not worth the money.

The homes live very much like townhomes rather than apartments with each resident having their own secure front entry door. The grounds and amenities are very nice. The mature trees, pond with lighted fountain and surrounding landscape make for pleasing views from your home or while taking a walk. The lighted walkways and buildings along with the timed front porch lights at dusk add a comforting level of security. The staff in the office, especially Sarah and the regional manager have been helpful and accommodating and especially caring throughout the challenges caused by the 2020 pandemic. The entire maintenance team headed up by Josh is very attentive, experienced and professional and address and resolve issues quickly. Dale always has a smile and friendly words. The longevity and stability of the staff is a testament to the quality of the management at Fortress Grove.
