I’ve had a great experience at The Edge Apartments. The community is well-kept, quiet, and comfortable, making it a really nice place to live. The leasing consultants truly stand out — they are professional, welcoming, and always willing to help. Any questions or concerns are handled quickly and with care, which makes the whole leasing process stress-free. You can tell they genuinely care about residents. I’m very happy with my experience and would absolutely recommend The Edge to anyone looking for a great place to call home.

My husband and I lived here for two years and were pretty much forced to leave on behalf of the inconveniences we were facing in our unit. Our apartment smelled of weed pretty much at all times due to a neighbor. Our walls and ceiling literally shook in the middle of the nights due to neighbors being inconsiderate with speakers. The air conditioner unit outside was repaired twice in 3 months and still made such loud noises it would shake our living room window right infront of it. Our shower curtain rod fell out of the ceiling several times. The door to our laundry room and the drawer underneath our oven were broken on move in due to our original date already being pushed back in the start. We faced a water leak in our laundry room/fridge area that our unit did not cause yet we were told by management when we moved out that they were doing us a favor by not charging us for the water damages. The air conditioning does not reach the bedroom whatsoever, if the door is closed in the night you will sweat trying to sleep even if it’s turned down to ridiculous temperatures. The hot water heater closet ceiling was covered in mold damage. Paying $1300 for 600 square feet INCLUDING the patio for a half way updated unit on Kirby, basically in East Memphis is actually absurd. If nothing else the price of the apartments does not measure up to the quality at all. The only good thing about the complex is the management & maintenance team, I have nothing but good things to say about Shelby and the rest of her team but there’s a lot that could be done to improve units and enforcing quiet hours/smoking policies not just having them listed in a rule page somewhere but allowing them still. Overall it’s not the worst complex in Memphis, but I do have plenty of experience In property management from my family to know these are simple things to be fixed that would make big impacts.

I just wanted to pop in and say living here was an incredible experience. Shelby is absolutely amazing - she runs essentially everything and is so kind, a go-getter, and so easy to talk to and work with. I had some difficulties with a couple maintenance situations, and even though that really sucked, she worked so hard to make it right. Also, in terms of maintenance, Mike is a wonderful human and so helpful. It’s very safe and they’re so proactive on keeping things clean and nice - power washing, upgrading security, new paint, you name it. Shelby, you’re a gem - thank you for everything.
