Kelly was great and very hospitable. She gave me a tour and provided me with some great info on promotions as well. It was the best customer service i have had in a while.

Once the problem was determined to be a crack in the hot water heater..
immediate and constant attention was given to resolve the matter until it was completed with the installation of a new unit just a few days later. I was satisfied that the maintenance manager, Mr Willie was on the case as I was given updates all along the way.

I’m just being honest the property manager, Kelly Peavy , has been consistently passive-aggressive and difficult to communicate with. It’s frustrating because residents have to chase her down for basic information, and important questions go unanswered for too long. This experience has made living here unnecessarily stressful. I’m hoping management improves communication, but if not, I’ll be looking for better-managed apartments moving forward, and I would suggest other FUTURE OR CURRENT residents consider doing the same.

My ex husband lives here. Over the past three years our kids have been chronically ill from mold exposure. There was a roof leak in one wall that caused mold to grow in our kids’ room which caused our three year old to have seizures and brain inflammation resulting in PANS. My ex moved to another apartment in the same complex and within 3 months it had mold growing under the bathroom sink from a leak. The maintenance guy just paints over mold damage and gaslights tenants by telling them that there is no mold. I’ve personally shown the management these issues and explained how it’s caused our kids to have chronic sickness but management got mad and said all they would do is replace the bottom of the cabinet sink and paint it again. Nothing was properly remediated. They just use Kilz and paint over mold and water damage. 7 kids and all 7 get sick after sleeping in this apartment. Also, the laundry closet is meant for stackable units but they put washer and dryer in that tiny space and the dryer hose vents at both apartments weren’t connected so the dryer was venting into the closet instead of the outside which is a fire hazard and a source of humidity which causes mold growth. Maintenance wouldn’t fix the issue so I had to go fix it myself so I didn’t have to worry about our kids being in an apartment that could catch fire from the dryer lint everywhere. If you live in these apartments and are riddled with illness look around for mold. They won’t fix it so good luck trying to get them to do anything about it. They do not care about your health! His first apartment at 2525 Country Haven Drive is the one with a black mold growing in the closet and I’m sure it was not properly removed and treated before they moved a new tenant in. Who ever lives there now could be very sick from the mold behind the sheet rock. They need to also look in their toilet tanks and air plenum in the attic for hidden mold growth. Edited to add pictures of the mudded and painted over mold repair job they did at his first apartment. You can see around the outlet where it looks like it was mudded a little and painted and the baseboard that is still rotted but painted over. Also notice the shadow in the closet on the left wall where mold was painted over but you can see where it was as well as the same rotted base board and still a little spot of mold showing at the baseboard. The carpet still has mold too. This is how they fix things and tell you they completed the repair request. If you don’t know better and are living in this apartment that hidden mold could make you very sick.

Mr. Willie P. Is always providing excellent service. He always put the residents first. I don't know where we would be without him caring for us at the Birches Countryside Apartments.
