I truly enjoyed my two year stay at The Venue! The office staff are terrific in my opinion and were always willing to work with me. A big thank you to Brayden in the office!! She was the leasing agent that helped me out when I first signed two years ago, and she is still working in the leasing office at the time of this review! Maintenance always responded with promptness regarding any issues that would arise. All in all, this is one of the best apartment complexes I’ve had the pleasure of living at, and believe me… I’ve stayed at some pretty awful places, as well as some pretty awesome places, but The Venue belongs in the awesome category for me!

Lived here for over a year. There was bugs and spiders everywhere around the stair cases all the time not once were they cleaned. The compactor was always broken and also my drainage from the day I moved in was all clogged up and had to pay out of my pocket to get it cleaned and fixed. They gave me a apartment with some doors messed up (holes in them) it was addressed in the move in checklist and they still charged me for it when I moved out. There was dog poop everywhere and parking was always so hard to deal with. Management would say “call our towing company” and when they were called by multiple residents in my building they would just come and leave without doing nothing . After weeks of moving in cracks and bugs started coming in the apartment and also when they changed the fiber glass thing in the ceiling they left all this fiber glass pink cloud thing inside of my closet when I came home my dog was eating some of it and I had to take her to the doctor which cost me a lot of money. This was my first time living on my own and honestly I didn’t enjoy it at all.

I moved here in 2021. When I left in 2024, the rent was $200/month higher. That’s a 19.23% increase over 3 years, or 6.41% annually. That’s much higher than annual wage increases of 2-3% on avg. In 30 years, a 1 bedroom 1 bath apartment will definitely exceed $6500/month if increased annually at 6.41%. In short, I’m a homeowner because I refuse to let this be a reality for me. Can you imagine what NYC will be…

I try to look at all perspectives in life. My family and I are grateful we live in a safe community like this that is a fair rental price. We come home feeling safe. However, the customer service here seems to fly out the gosh darn window once you sign your lease. They stop answering your emails, they stop responding to reports of community issues in the leasing office. The staff is very young and seem to know very little about life. Multiple neighbors have found the young maintenance manager to be very rude and inexperienced. They had exposed our community to such a horrible construction project. Neighbors have had to make their own fb groups to avoid being censored in the community one managed by property management. I think there is hope, but there needs to be some tightening up in that office with better customer service. They don’t even say their names when they answer the phone and I got no clue who I’m jibber jabbering to. I emailed them dozens of times about the gross mess I attached a picture for and nothing.

Upstairs washing/drying machine vibrates the whole apartment. I have to use ear plugs just to somewhat block out the noise.
