  If you are looking for a home that will need lots of work the minute you walk into the door because of manufacturing defects. This is definitely the company I would deal with I have recently bought a property that had a 2025 Clayton home installed on it and from the moment I walked into the door there has been nothing but problems. The floors are sinking. The heating system blows out cold air when it's set on heat amongst many other problems and this is not just A rare situation. This is happening all over the country to thousands and thousands of people. You can go on A Facebook page titled horror stories from Clayton homes and see for yourself how thousands of people who thought they were getting their dream home turned out to get a nightmare And since I am not the one that actually bought the home from Clayton, I have no warranty and already have thousands of dollars worth of work something needs to be done about Warren Buffett and Clayton homes scam please reach out to whoever you can. I don't want to see any more people fall victim and have their lives be financially ruined because they thought they were getting something new that would last a lifetime or two like Clayton's website claims Oh, and many reports of mold so I would not be surprised if I have that as well

  We had an excellent experience with Clayton Homes in Knoxville, and we want to especially recognize our salesman, Chris and our project manager, Zach Roberts. Chris was wonderful to work with from the very beginning. He was always willing to take the time to explain details, answer questions, and make sure we felt confident in every step. His knowledge and steady approach made a huge difference for us. He remained calm, kind, and patient throughout the process, even when things were moving quickly and emotions were high when we ran into some issues with our lender. This man makes things happen, and we wouldn't have our home without him. Zach Roberts, our project manager, truly went above and beyond in every sense of the phrase. I must have asked him a thousand stupid questions, and he answered every single one with clarity and professionalism. His communication was exceptional, quick responses, clear explanations, and complete transparency. No fluff, no runaround, just straightforward answers and follow through. We did encounter some hiccups along the way, but Zach handled each one head on and worked through them with us until they were resolved. He coordinated everything seamlessly and kept us informed at all times. It was clear he genuinely cared about the outcome and about us as homeowners. At the end of the day, my fiance and I now have a beautiful home, and we couldn’t be more grateful to Chris, Zach, and everyone involved who helped make this happen. We would absolutely recommend Clayton Homes in Knoxville to anyone considering buying a manufactured home.

  After visiting Clayton, I now have a better understanding of the process and the care that goes into being a customer like myself. I appreciate all the help and the knowledge that the representative Bryan was able to give me. He leaves people like me and other customers a positive impression of how customer service should be. This is a big decision in many companies it seems like they want to throw accessories and amenities and features in our faces to get us to buy more, but after speaking with Bryan, I feel more confident about my budget and still being happy with the homes that are available within my means. After going to several other companies, which made me feel like I wanted to run away or that I would never get what I wanted. I am more assured now that this is the place I want to get my next home from. A lot of representatives are pushy. They don’t really listen and they give you the briefest of information but with Bryan, I was able to get all of the information so I can make an informed decision. If there were more representatives like him I believe people would not have the bad impressions that they have on sales reps. Buying a home is not a small deal in today’s society so making sure that the money we put down to get one is something we are going to be pleased with and we’re going to enjoy living in and not regret is very important. Having somebody listen to those needs and laying out the options that are available takes knowledge, skill, compassion, and a sincerity that you don’t generally get. I would definitely recommend anyone if they are shopping for a home to go here and ask for Bryan Cote

  Working with Zach and his team at Clayton Homes has been an absolute outstanding experience from start to finish. Buying a home can feel overwhelming, but they made the entire process smooth, transparent, and genuinely enjoyable. Every question we had was answered with patience and clarity, and we always felt supported and informed at each step. Zach went above and beyond to make sure we understood our options and felt confident in our decisions. His team was just as impressive professional, friendly, and truly committed to helping us! Their communication was consistent, their guidance was honest, and their dedication showed in every interaction. They have shown up right away to fix a few small issues we have had! We had a bad experience with another home place…. Called Clayton Homes in Knoxville, we were lucky enough to have Zach pick up! And he took care of us from there.   I purchased two manufactured homes for the same property—one through Oakwood and one through Clayton Homes on Clinton Highway in Knoxville—and I can confidently say how happy we are with the quality of the CLAYTON home, its energy efficiency, and the overall experience. From the start, Clayton Clinton Hwy. delivered exactly what was promised. The home itself is well-built, thoughtfully finished, and has met (and exceeded) our expectations for quality. The installation process was on time, organized, and professional, with clear communication throughout. I especially want to recognize Zach, the Project Manager, who went far above and beyond what his role required. Zach didn’t just manage the home—he helped me navigate real-world challenges around the property, including neighbor issues, drainage concerns on our lots, and problem-solving that extended well beyond the home itself. His calm, respectful, and solution-oriented approach made a stressful situation manageable, and that level of support is rare. I also want to thank Stephen, the repair technician, who was prompt, knowledgeable, and thorough. Any issues that arose were addressed quickly and correctly, with genuine care and follow-through. One piece of advice I would offer future buyers: Clayton’s team has the experience and structure to make the process far smoother when they handle everything from start to finish—including grading, plumbing, electrical, decks, skirting, and other site work—rather than trying to manage bits and pieces yourself. Get the complete package. Having one team responsible for the whole process is priceless, and it’s something I wish I had done. When making a major investment like a home, quality, accountability, and people matter. Clayton Homes on Clinton Highway—and especially Zach and Stephen—have earned my trust. I would absolutely work with Clayton again and highly recommend them.
