This company was the absolute worst place I have ever rented from. To start off I was bamboozled into paying a deposit after applying within 3 days or I would have to reapply and repay the 150 application fees which I was not told before applying when I called that apartment to inquire availability. When I asked to view an empty apartment before paying I was told no they don't do that. I then called to check a week before moving in what was needed to move in I was greeted with sarcasm and treated like a problem for asking for my to do list to move in. When I called back a few days before move in after still not receiving my list I was told rudely that they have a lot on their plate and have not forgotten about me and would get it to me. I reported them to PEM director of that area and she convinced me to stay and would handle them. Then at move in I was told by Rhonda that trash and internet was included in my rent price. Then 2 weeks after moving in started receiving letters that they were going to start charging 105 more a month for trash and internet because they were in trouble for not doing so. When questioned about breaking the lease agreement and moving due to unfair changes to our lease they told us they were not lawyers and said to figure it out. Stayed with them for my lease and when my lease had a month left to it I received a call from the office stating that I must give a 60 day notice to vacate and would have to stay past my lease date and pay the amount of 1 months lease month to month price. When I asked how that's possible since I signed for a year and did not renew that was the end of our contract and if I had to still give 60 day notice why did they only call me 30 days before my lease ended. Again was told to figure it out. When I finally moved out I cleaned my house and asked to do a walkthrough appointment and was told by the office they do not do moveout walkthroughs and I can just leave the key in the apartment drawer. I went by office to turn in keys and ask again to do a walkthrough since I didn't feel comfortable and was told I had to set up an appointment to do so. I then told Ada that I tried and was told they don't do those. She said she would go ahead and do mine only because her appointment no showed. When walking through she told me they were charging me 500 for paint for a sticky hand print in the living room, carpet cleaning with no pets, the blind with one partial blind broken on their cheap plastic blinds. And a 230 cleaning fee but could not tell me what was wrong to deserve the cleaning fee. Also told in my move out email that I would be charged to transfer water back in their name and I do not agree with that since you didn't pay for me to change it to my name so why should I pay for you to get it in your name?
