  I live at beadle Plaza now and I'm extremely happy with it. Everything is cozy and I made new friends.

  Friendly management, bug free facility, and very clean. Fast service if something is broke.

  My mother lived here. We had to move our mother out after she had a medical issue and required a facility that had a walk-in shower. When I phoned the manager, she was rude and insisted that my mother signed a year long contract that could not be broken without a lot of consequences (to rental history, credit, forfeiture of deposit, and imposition of paying many months rent etc.). I had to get a letter from her surgeon explaining the medical necessity, this after my mother had been hospitalized for over 2 months. These decisions had to be made quickly towards the end of the month. Me and my family packed up her entire apartment and moved her stuff out (while she was still hospitalized). We asked the manager if we could have access until the 3rd of the month so we could clean, and remove a few larger items (that we needed help to remove). The manager didn't say anything about paying for those 3 days. When it was time to get the deposit back, the manager refused to give us the deposit and charged us nearly 100 bucks per day for those 3 days. Way to kick someone when they're 'down'. Our mother also had many complaints about this place. Steer clear. They're out for nothing but $$. Read the fine print. This place doesn't even deserve one star, but the system forces you to give at least one star!

  If safety is important to you, stay away. Especially if you are a single woman. STAY AWAY! Fellow tenants are allowed to harass and stalk with no consequence. I've had my intimates stolen from the laundry room, rocks thrown at my window, get intimidated in the elevator with NO regard for personal space, the air was let out of my tires twice while parked in the underground garage, and someone regularly wiggles my door knob and rattles the door at night. Top that off with bed bugs, bats and unleashed dogs and you have a constant state of anxiety. The management company does little to ensure the safety and comfort of their tenants.

  I think Megan might have been confusing Beadle Plaza with Beadle West? Beadle Plaza doesn't have underground parking, garbage disposals--or bedbugs. In fact, we get inspected every other month for bedbugs and none have been found. I'm assuming that's the case next door at Beadle West, too. Beadle Plaza is for low-income seniors and disabled people. The people who live here have their issues, like most places, but most whom I've met are kind and friendly. It is not fancy, but it is affordable.
