  I been here since July and I can say it’s quiet the management are very professional and helpful. Ms.Johnson goes above and beyond for the staff and also the residents, she is very professional and very kind . 10/10 service I recommend anyone to Brookside pointe

  The person complaining about the application fees was being ignorant. Forty dollars per person is the *average* per person cost for most apartment complexes. From the sound of it, they were going for the subsidized units that Brookside Pointe offers to those who qualify. There is a waiting list and they do have a lot of restrictions. These units, while they do tend to go through a lot of abuse from lower income families, are *always* cleaned up and repaired before being rented. The new girl probably didn't know that the unit was not ready for walk-throughs... which was probably why that applicant was not shown the townhome earlier... and in her newness to the position, allowed herself to be bullied into showing it before it was ready. I lived at Brookside Pointe for 3 years in a non-subsidized unit. It was spacious and the floor plan more than adequate for my needs. There was plenty of parking, even when I had guests, and the manager and staff was always very attentive to my needs and the needs of my unit. I would have loved to have a different kind of carpet as the low pile was a little hard on the feet, especially downstairs, but it was clean and in good condition. My only complaint is that I was never informed prior to leasing that a few of the units were subsidized and had a tendency to bring in families who were less than caring of their home surroundings. I can remember several times cleaning up after people who couldn't quite "hit" the trash container opening (some by several yards!) Several parents left their children alone for long periods of time which left the kids no other options but to run wild through the complex, throwing things at cars, littering and generally being a nuisance. Usually a stern talking to from an adult was all they required as they were mostly under 12 years of age... but it was annoying and heartbreaking that more wasn't done for them. They weren't permitted in the pool area without an adult and I don't remember seeing a playground (perhaps one was built since I moved?) While these issues had to do with some of the tenants and not really the property management, it would have been nicer if all tenants (not just the ones paying full price for their units) were made to follow property rules. I got the feeling that they were afraid to chastise the renters in the subsidized units for fear of losing funding. But... I loved my stay at Brookside Pointe, all in all.
