  To The Retreat, I truly appreciate how much this apartment complex cares about its residents. Management and staff consistently do their best in every situation, whether it’s maintenance, communication, or day-to-day concerns. You can tell they genuinely want residents to feel heard and supported. No place is perfect, but the effort and care shown here make a real difference and set this community apart. They consistently do their best to address concerns promptly and professionally, and they communicate openly throughout the process. It’s clear that resident satisfaction matters here, and that level of commitment creates a positive living experience. -Jay

  Slowly getting worse. When i first moved in, it was clean, very well taken care of. I leave a small thing outside, managers contacted me to remove those, and I appreciated it. Now people leave their garbage in grocery bags for weeks, nothing happens. Cover your window with foils and plastic bags, nothing happens. Dogs poop are out of control, especially on dog parks. Also two dog parks are always full of mud the whole year. Still a good complex in Sumter, but nah. You guys were way better than this.

  Th complex is pretty nice but be prepared to be charged a lot of money. The listed prices when applying are significantly lower than what you will pay due to the amenities and valet trash service (that is very inconsistent with pickup times). The maintenance staff was my only good experience with living here they were very friendly and helpful. The office staff could be nice at times but come off very condescending. This apartment charges for luxury but you are getting sub par quality.

  I had a pleasant experience at the Retreat. It had a place for walking, gyms, pools, fire pits and grills. The maintenance team stays on top of keeping the place nice. The staff is friendly and professional.

  I have been at the Retreat several yrs now..the Management here is great!. I feel Lauren , office staff, maintenance do a wonderful job keeping this property running well. They have always taken care of our needs in a timely manner..I love the amenities..just a very relaxing atmosphere !
