    The most useless gate in history is always broken. Tenants are told to handle their own problems when talking with the front office. They also decide to run a vaccume at 7am on a Saturday. The day people want to sleep in after working all week. Are we for real right now? Also maintenance is almost nonexistent. The pools cool i guess?

    Honest Review from a Current Resident: Please be advised, the construction of these apartment buildings is extremely poor. The walls are so thin that you can clearly hear conversations from neighboring units without even trying. Literally The gate has been broken for a whole month and a half now. They have yet to fix the gate. Let’s start off with that first. I’ve lived in several apartments before, and I have never experienced anything like what I’m dealing with at South City Apartments. The first issue started immediately after I moved in. My neighbors were playing excessively loud music. I submitted multiple complaints to the leasing office before the issue was finally addressed, after I submitted a proper report. Shortly after, ongoing disturbances began from neighbors on the opposite side. These are not minor noises, these are loud, aggressive sounds that occur nightly from around 9 PM to as late as 5 AM. Every. Single. Night. It often sounds like furniture is being thrown against the walls and floors. The impact is so intense at times that I’ve genuinely been concerned about my mounted TV falling. I have submitted several complaints, but management has yet to follow up with me directly to resolve the issue. This has become a consistent, nightly disruption, and my sleep has been significantly affected. Recently, there was an extremely loud bang around 2 AM that completely woke me up, and I was unable to go back to sleep due to continued noise. Mind you, I work fulltime and I am a student. And mind you again, there are at least three families, to which one of the families are living below them. So I can only imagine how they’re being affected by this. I want to be clear, I am not someone who complains unnecessarily, or a person who is dramatic. This is an honest account of ongoing disturbances and a lack of consideration from other residents, along with a lack of effective response from management. Additionally, the property grounds are not well maintained. Pet waste is consistently left around the building and has not been addressed. There is literally pet mess surrounding area in particular. Pest control is also a major concern. I have not seen any routine pest control services. Bugs are prevalent throughout the breezeways, and my storage unit was filled with spiders and insects upon move-in. At previous properties, pest control was handled regularly, and common areas were cleaned routinely by a wash down, this has not been the case here. The breezeways are disgusting !!! For the price, nearly $1,600 for a one-bedroom, one-bathroom, this experience is unacceptable. I strongly advise prospective renters to reconsider. I moved here under time constraints, despite prior warnings from others, and unfortunately, those concerns have proven to be accurate.

    Temp housing through corporate. We thought we may like it and lease here. Nope. Not going to list all the things we disliked. Not the worst by any means just not for us.

    Though I didn’t end up signing a lease here, Emily was amazing with the tour and getting information to and from me so quickly! I really appreciated her willingness and desire to help me through the entire process. Thank you Emily! Highly recommend applying here.
