I have waited to write this for months. I was on the fence but since things have come to this. I ended my lease at the last week of renewal for a huge reason...MOLD. I did several tests and Dr's. (My child got very sick! And they tried to say it wasnt from that. But assure you it was. My child is doing much better. )Yet. They said no mold was in the apartment. Only because they found no "water". They clearly know nothing about mold.mold needs water to form not to live. We had plenty of leaks. Theses apartments use to be nice but They are rock bottom. They lie. Don't care about anything but rent. And very overpriced. Good Luck.

I had a great experience touring The Laurel Apartments! I was honestly pretty nervous about apartment hunting, but Brittany made the entire process feel comfortable and stress-free from start to finish. She was extremely professional, patient, and knowledgeable, answering all of my questions and making sure I felt confident every step of the way. The property itself is beautiful and well maintained, but what really stood out to me was the customer service. Brittany went above and beyond to create a welcoming environment and made what can usually be an overwhelming process feel smooth and easy. If you’re looking for a place and want to work with someone who truly cares, I definitely recommend asking for Brittany!

Coming from a different country, the application was difficult with us at first but, Brittany was very helpful and patient with us and replied promptly to our concerns. We also went in to check the property before moving-in and she was very accomodating to tour us and give us options for a better unit that would fit me and my husband. Our move-in was also chill and easy. Everything in the apartment that was pre-installed were all working. So far, we're satisfied with our unit.

My roommate and I have been here since March of 2024 and it was great in the beginning. Was absolutely stoked to have a fireplace and on the second floor which is crazy. Unfortunately, this upside doesn't outweigh the multiple downsides to this place. First off, maintenance. I don't understand why you guys think it's alright to mark service requests as completed when you never showed up. I've put in quite a few and some were completed. The one request that i've been waiting on is for my bathtub to be resurfaced. We've put in, coming up now, 4 requests. The first time, we got an email saying that you guys have to hire the people to come and do it. Followed by that, we get another email saying it's done, and it most certainly was not. The second time, we're told they hired them and they'll be there sometime during the week. They showed up, but they only did one of our tubs, and I had put in the comments that both of ours needed to be done. This was back in October of 2025. They only did my roommates. We had to wait to put in another one cause I had surgery 2 days after they did my roommates. We put a work order in sometime late December and get an email saying they need to hire someone again. Got a call saying we need to schedule a day for them to come by. I was home and nobody ever came by, no call, no text, nothing. Also needed the chain on our ceiling fan fixed. Was marked completed and nobody showed up. Onto the office. What in the world are you guys doing in there to not answer your phones? Everytime i've called, i'm sent to voicemail or have that stupid Oliver AI automated answering machine pick up when I want to actually talk to a real person. I left a voicemail Jan 21st of 2026 concerned about certain charges on our rent, which is another point I'll get to in a moment. The trash valet. Why are we getting charged $65 for trash? We haven't had our trash out in weeks cause my roommate has been taking it out, so why are we getting charged a fee? Trash is $10. If it went up that much, that's a 550% mark up which is shameful. The pools. The past 2 years, I've only gone swimming once. Why? Because the pools are always down cause some dumbass kids are going and breaking them or pissing and shitting in them. Get some security cameras put in place or security in general cause this place is just full of delinquents. Which brings me to theft... I've had, $100 worth of mail stolen from me, and all because maintenance wouldn't get off their asses and fix our mailbox door. The door fell off and took 3 months to get it replaced. They still have not put the locks on our doors so it's easy pickings for my mail. Cosmetics of the apartment are botched. The flooring was installed atrociously. There are so many gaps in the flooring it looks awful. The awful paint job on the doors. The insides of the cabinents in the kitchen look awful. Paint is just chipping up everywhere. Overall if I could give this place a zero I would. Luckily we're leaving this place in May and I wish the date would come sooner. This is our second apartment and is by far the worst one we've been in. Changes need to be made. Either hire more maintenance people, or fire the ones who don't give a crap about their job. Hire around the clock security so the place feels safer and people don't have to worry so much about their mail getting stolen. Set a curfew for the younger ones. People spend too much money on this place for staff to not care about our needs and well being. Please, do better.
