- MLM LutkeJan 21, 20265.0We found Ryan Homes Berkeley last Sept. We were scouting the Greenville-Spartanburg area for possible re-location from the west coast. RJ Gist welcomed us in & was instrumental in guiding us to our new home. We did a contingency offer & then returned to start the sale process which turned out to be slow! RJ was always there checking in & giving encouragement when we started feeling like our home would never sell. He helped get our contingency extended & finally we received an offer so the build at Berkeley could begin! RJ was great in helping us choose finishes. We are so excited for this new adventure with Ryan Homes Berkeley. Clay & Caleigh at NVR Finance have also been great to work with! They have been patient walking this old dog through new tricks doing everything electronically long distance! Really appreciate the managers behind the scenes who have helped with extending contingency time period to help us get into a new Ryan Home!

- DWDavid WhittJul 20, 20251.0Helped our daughter buy her first home from Ryan in Berkeley in July 2024. My wife and I bought our first home from Ryan in 1992. This most recent experience in Berkeley has been disappointing for our daughter. No hot water first week, multiple roof leaks, tripping breakers, etc. Just came up on her first anniversary in the home and Ryan was having neighbors mark issues they wanted repaired at the one year ownership mark. My daughter never heard anything from Ryan and we just discovered another leak that has obviously been ongoing for a while based on drywall condition (see pic). Hopefully Ryan steps up to fix this latest leak and actually does a 1 year walk through inspection like they did for us over 30 years ago.
