  My husband and I recently visited Clayton Homes in Manning, SC, just to browse the manufactured homes on display, and we had an outstanding experience with Mac McElveen, Home Consultant. From the moment we walked in, Mac was warm, inviting, and genuinely interested in helping us. Before showing us any homes, he took the time to sit down with us and really get to know what we were looking for—our preferences, desired features, and ideal layout. That personal touch made all the difference. Based on our conversation, he thoughtfully guided us through homes that aligned with our needs. Even when we asked to see a home that wasn’t on his initial list, he gladly accommodated us—and it ended up being our favorite! Mac was incredibly patient, answering all of our questions and offering valuable insight on what to look for and consider when purchasing a home—even if we ultimately decide to buy elsewhere. He took the time to explain the entire process, including what happens after purchase and how the setup works, which we truly appreciated. To top it off, he provided us with printed floor plans and pricing for each home we were interested in, giving us something tangible to review later. At no point did we feel pressured—just supported and informed. His professionalism, kindness, and excellent customer service made the entire experience enjoyable and stress-free. Because of the way he treated us, we would absolutely consider working with him when we are ready to purchase. Highly recommend Mac McElveen if you are looking for a knowledgeable and customer-focused home consultant!

  Before visiting Clayton Homes of Manning, my wife and I were giving up hope we would ever find a family home in today's market. Mac McElveen was thorough and patient while we toured several models. He was honest about the homes and total prices upfront, unlike other companies we've visited. Our home-buying process has been smoother and faster than I anticipated. Mac has gone above and beyond to provide courteous service, helping us feel like we have chosen the right manufacturer, the right lender, and best of all, the right home for our growing family. We cannot thank Mac and Clayton Homes of Manning enough for the beautiful home and future they have given us.
