I’ve been hesitant regarding if I should write a review or not. However, with everything going on, I think I should. I’m truly disappointed in how this apartment complex is being managed. Instead of thoughtfully addressing resident complaints, the management team is taking the most extreme and backwards approach. Every other week they’re threatening to shut down or restrict access to nearly every amenity we pay for. I understand they’re in a hard position trying to address everyone’s concerns, but there are other ways to do it.
They threatened to close the pool for the entire summer several times, the dog park is currently closed with no reopening date, and the dog spa(which you would think is a free amenity) requires a card and a $10 minimum fee for the first 15 minutes, when functioning properly. The vacuum to the car station was out of order. However, I believe it has been fixed. You were able to pay to reserve the club house. However, the club house is completely closed for reservations. I believe the office enforced this as a way to control the crowd at the pool. However, once again, this is a punishment to all residents for the actions of others.
To make matters worse, their office hours are now only 8:30 to 5:30 Monday through Friday, making it nearly impossible for residents with full-time jobs to get assistance. If some of the issues are occurring on the weekends, how does cutting weekend staff help resolve them? It actually makes the problems worse.
I personally had an issue that took over a month to get a response to, despite numerous calls and emails. Their AI phone assistant, Piper, makes it nearly impossible to reach anyone. Sometimes Piper provides the option to leave a message, only to send a you text saying it couldn’t understand you and to call again, then the loop starts all over again.
The office blamed the delay on being “understaffed,” but that doesn’t excuse going silent on a resident for weeks. Adding to the frustration, another staff member who works primarily at a different apartment property gave me incorrect information which resulted in me not being able to switch units. She argued arrogantly when I informed her of the transfer policy that was given to me by the office agent, Elayjah. She insisted the on-site employee, Elayjah, was wrong only for management to later confirm that Elayjah was right and that the visiting agent did provide incorrect information. Yet, the manager still made excuses for the misinformed employee by saying things like “well, she wasn’t technically wrong because that is the policy at the apartments where she normal works.”
On top of everything, the emails we receive from management are often very aggressive. It feels less like a community and more like a punishment. Amenities are part of what we pay rent for. Yet, half of them are either restricted or closed. The dog park is closed for cleaning, with no reopen date at this time. They stated it’s because residents “haven’t figured out how to pick up after their pets.” I am at the dog park all the time and can say the amount of dog waste has decreased tremendously over the past couple of months. In addition to this, most of the pet owners who typically frequents the park all clean up after their dogs. What if the issue isn’t the residents? What if it’s others (who are not residents) coming to the park and not cleaning after pets? The residents who are doing their part are being punished for the actions of others. In which the office cannot prove who it is since there aren’t cameras on the property.
I understand addressing concerns can be difficult, especially with trying to please everyone but this complex is going about it in all the wrong ways. At this time, I probably would not renew my lease due to how communication has been lately.

Maintenance here is extremely helpful and quick, but all other staff are wildly unprofessional and unhelpful. The complex does not take care of the issues around the property and don’t bother to keep it clean. I have lived here for multiple years and watched the quality of the complex completely go downhill. Super disappointed but can’t wait to get out of here.

We didn't end up signing a lease here, but the management treated us with compassion and empathy, something that is sorely lacking from just next door from their competition.
I recommend their location highly if you are new to the area and want easy access to I-77 near the NC & SC borders. Great outdoor space, pool, grills, dog park, garages. Many amenities.
