Absolute cash grab of a company.
Rushed building of homes with zero intent of customer satisfaction. Terrible customer care especially from sales department, if you have any issues they will tell you its just an "optical illusion". They do a horrible job at disclosing what different options do when you pick them for a new home construction, they'll rush you to sign off on contracts so you can "Get in your new amazing home" quicker. It seems like all these reps care for is a commission, and not your idea for your family home.
Just about all these homes suffer from structural instability, such as cracked concrete foundation (even before you close), voids in siding that are large enough to allow rain-water inside, damaged appliances, bowed walls, exposed plumbing, missing supports for frame stability, the list goes on. The construction runs a "tight schedule" and these issues pile up fast, which doesn't even allow the construction crews to fix these errors before you close, so they brush it off as "Warranty" and will fix it AFTER you move in. In which a lot of the stability issues cannot be fixed, such as the concrete foundations, not really a good on your peace of mind for safety of your brand new home. This company has a lot of complaints about their warranty department as well, so chances are your warranty will run out before you can get most issues resolved.
All in all these homes are going to end up being a money pit where you as the homeowner will have to pay for all the damages and inconsistencies that appear from such a tight construction schedule. Not to mention if they'll even make it through a rough hurricane season.

Terrible Craftsmanship and Endless Headaches!
My experience with this builder has been nothing short of a nightmare. The craftsmanship is unbelievably poor — rushed work, sloppy finishes, constant mistakes, and zero attention to detail. I’ve had to point out issues that any competent builder should have caught long before I ever walked through the door.
On top of the awful quality, the company’s communication and management are just as bad. Every step felt disorganized and careless, and getting clear answers was nearly impossible.
Before choosing this builder, I strongly recommend researching their track record. There are public complaints and legal disputes listed online, and after dealing with them myself, I’m honestly not surprised. If I could go back, I would have chosen any other company to build my home.
Save yourself the stress, money, and frustration — look elsewhere.

I normally don’t leave lengthy reviews, but my experience with this home company has been overwhelmingly disappointing and I feel it’s important to warn other potential buyers—especially first-time or younger buyers—before they make the same mistake. From the very beginning, the company created the impression that they were trustworthy, transparent, and dedicated to guiding me through the process. Unfortunately, that could not have been further from the truth. As soon as I signed the initial paperwork, the level of honesty and support I received dropped dramatically.
One of the biggest issues was the lack of proper information about the house I was buying into. Important details, disclosures, and potential concerns were either glossed over or conveniently left out altogether. During the initial tour, everything appeared polished and well-maintained, but once I moved in, I quickly discovered several issues that had clearly been hidden or minimized. Problems with the structure, electrical components, and basic systems showed up within weeks—problems that any responsible company would have disclosed or addressed before presenting the home as “move-in ready.”
What made the experience even worse was how I was treated throughout the process. The representative I worked with seemed to take advantage of the fact that I was a younger home buyer. Instead of offering guidance, they used my inexperience against me—rushing me through paperwork, dismissing my questions, and reassuring me with vague answers that later turned out to be misleading. Looking back, it’s clear that they relied on my lack of knowledge to push the sale rather than making sure I understood what I was getting into.
Overall, I walked away feeling deceived, undervalued, and taken advantage of. Buying a home should feel exciting and empowering, but this company turned it into a stressful, expensive lesson. I hope this review helps others approach their dealings with far more caution than I was encouraged to have. I strongly recommend doing extensive research, insisting on third-party inspections, and not allowing anyone—especially a salesperson—to pressure you into a rushed or poorly explained purchase.

My Personal Experience With Ryan Homes at 1143 Oak Meadows Drive (Lot 143).
I honestly don’t understand how Ryan Homes has any positive reviews, because my experience with the build of 1143 Oak Meadows Drive (Lot 143) was extremely disappointing. From my perspective, the entire process felt disorganized from start to finish. At one point I was even sent progress photos of a house that wasn’t mine, which immediately raised red flags.
On top of that, no bedroom lights were added, and I ended up dealing with multiple contractors and sales representatives instead of one consistent point of contact. In my opinion, that level of miscommunication made the whole process chaotic and frustrating.
Less than a week before closing, my home inspector identified enough concerns to create a 35-page report, ranging from structural issues to cosmetic problems. By the time everything was finished, the result did not match what I felt was advertised or expected.
Based on my experience, if you value your time, money, and peace of mind, I would strongly recommend doing thorough research and considering other options.
