  Extremely disappointing experience! My sister toured, applied and paid a $500 deposit for a second floor apartment with a balcony off the ground. She was called and told that her unit was ready, but when she arrived to the leasing office, she had to sign her lease before inspecting the unit. When she was shown the unit, It’s a clear bait-and-switch. It was not a second floor unit. It was a first floor unit with a balcony on the ground and it was not move-in ready! Maintenance was still inside trying to fix last-minute issues. The front door had blue masking tape with the unit number written in marker, the kitchen sink was cracked, cabinet doors was off the hinge, and the patio screen had a large hole. She asked for her deposit back and was refused. Management offered no help. We contacted the property management company, Franklin Group and were simply referred back to the leasing office with no resolution. They offered no help! Arbors at Windsor Lake Apartments website says “Your Dream Home Awaits”. It should read “Your Nightmare Starts Here”! No one should be pressured to sign a lease for an apartment that is not clean, safe or move-in ready. She is seeking a full refund of the deposit for a unit that was never delivered as promised. No one should be expected to accept an apartment in this condition or lose money for refusing to move into a unit that wasn’t prepared. That’s crazy!!! Shame on Kierra, Lakeshia, Arbors at Windsor Lakes and Franklin Group management company for calling her to come get keys and sign a lease for an unfinished apartment to Profit over People!

  They all went above and beyond in helping me to move my daughter. Nice quiet apartment complex.

  Run don't waste your time... They don't care about the tenants... You can go to the office, it's lies being told and the staff changes every other month... I didn't have heat or air for over a year and had to purchase extra heater and fans, the walls are thin and you can hear the people in the apartment above.. Just save you time and money

  Just saw a WACH article on this property and it reminded me of my time living here back in 2006/2008. This property is overpriced and although it looks nice, it is very superficial. The walls are thin (I could literally hear my neighbors in their bedroom whether it was the TV or having sex. I could also hear my upstairs neighbors every footstep. I ended up breaking my second lease during the second month. Although the complex tried to make me stay, I was willing to pay the consequences. I recorded everything I was hearing and the hours it was happening. When they threatened to force me to pay, I played the recording and they dropped everything.

  Do not rent an apartment from this place I stay here for a year six months out of the year. I had no AC stay here for a year six months out of the year I had no AC and when I contact them, the maintenance man came. He did not fix my AC and a year later. I’m still waiting on a refund because they overcharged me a rent and they owe me a deposited the new management that now in office she keeps lying saying that it has been refunded every time I call t. It’s always something about corporate. Don’t want to pay me my refund back because the refund is too high, they owe me over $2000 because I was over charging rent and they owe my deposit back. My hand was forced and I just had to go get a lawyer just to get my money back. The new manager is no better than the old manager. They tell you anything just to get you off the phone and when I keep calling to check on my status, I guess they see the my number and they’re not contacting me or returning any call. The gate only worked like two months out the whole year. I was out there the trash-can be full of trash. And the maintenance team is very lazy. I left the apartment in good condition and I still can’t get any of my money back. If you have any standards, please don’t rent from this place.
