Whilst looking 'pretty' - they broke a number of standard procedures when building our house, and have become experts at avoiding responsibility: 'John Wieland Homes and Neighborhoods' sold us a house in 2009. The warranty is supposed to last 20yrs. They were getting hit with so many claims that they.....'sold'....the company (keeping ownership very close to home) and reappeared under the same name and logo.....only they had skillfully covered their tracks so as to AVOID RESPONSIBILITY FOR HOUSES BUILT BEFORE THE CHANGE. Very clever John Wieland....very clever. This sort of behaviour should be illegal, but JW makes a business plan out of it. We're facing a bill for tens of thousands that they wash their hands of.
