The staff at State College Collective are so providing and make sure all of the residents are having fun with weekly promotions and activities. When in need of maintenance, they are always quick to show up, and do it well. I have recommended State College Collective to all my friends! If choosing a place to stay, State Collective Collective on Northbrook is the way to go.

We really enjoy living in this community. Our apartment is spacious, and the location is excellent: especially being in Aaron 2, with easy access to Tom Tudek Park and nearby bus stops. It’s convenient and makes getting around simple.
There have been a few issues with maintenance at times, which could be improved.

These apartments are spacious, clean, and come with great amenities. The property does a good job on upkeep and app makes it easy to request work done if needed. I have enjoyed my time living here and have not had any major complaints.

Our apartment complex has had our Wi-Fi out for 2 weeks. Every time we ask the leasing office manager for answers they have none and beat around the bush with us for days. Completely unprofessional behavior and terrible management. They somehow did not realize they weren't paying our internet bills for 6 months and were still collecting full rent this whole time. Has not taken timely action and we still have no estimated time for Wi-Fi restoration. We are still being asked to pay full rent during this time despite not receiving full amenities and little communication of what is being done or when internet will be restored. When we asked about reimbursement, they mentioned gift cards which is a completely unacceptable response for something that negatively affects both academics and well-being.

Update: They will respond to my google reviews for the public eye but won’t respond to the MULTIPLE emails I have sent to them trying to reach a legitimate solution. They say all this on google reviews but no genuine action is ever taken.
Terrible business model and management. My apartment has not had Wi-Fi for two weeks and counting, despite it being in our lease agreement that they would handle all the internet bills (since that's what we pay for every month). In our talks with the manager, we found out that State College Collective was accruing money on internet bills for 6 months (starting in October) and only realized something was wrong in March. We have gone two full weeks without Wi-Fi and little communication about what is happening and still have no estimated time of Wi-Fi restoration. They are moving incredibly slow and at this point it is unacceptable. They told me I could email the higher ups and they would respond within 24-48 hours; it has been a week with multiple follow-ups and visits to the leasing office and still no help. They are useless when it comes to solving problems within a timely manner, do not expect competence if you lease with them.
