State College Collective Apartments has been amazing to work with so far, and I couldn’t be more excited to move in. The staff has been friendly, helpful, and quick to answer any questions I’ve had throughout the process. The community feels welcoming, the amenities are great, and the apartments themselves are modern and well taken care of. Everything about the experience so far has made me feel confident that I made the right choice, and I’m really looking forward to calling State College Collective home!

Do not rent here! We rented a single for our son, moved him in, filthy carpets stains all over (see pics ), burn marks in counter, broken blind, no drip pans under burners on stove……move out clean $410! I dont pay that to clean a 4 bedroom home! Plus $148 carpet cleaning! $70 blind charge……ofc has been sent to collections, nobody will call you back, complete joke!

The office staff had been very kind and helpful. This place has the best maintenance out of all the places i’ve lived in the state college area (this is 5). I had an issue and maintenance was very quick to help. My only complaint is my apartment floors were dirty when i moved in. They had a form if this happened to get cleaners back in but it wasn’t horrible so i quickly vacuumed and mopped and moved in. My biggest complaint is that I didn’t find this place sooner since I graduated this semester otherwise SCC would have been my home much longer.

I am leaving a one-star review because this is a place where rules matter more than residents. Management shows little consideration for tenant comfort or reasonable requests.
All I asked for was temporary parking permits during the holiday periods, we re celebrating. Instead of showing flexibility or basic understanding, management hid behind policies. Althoygh several spots are empty and i explained i need it for literally 2 hours. There was no effort to help. Don't bother.
