- GVGary VallanoSep 7, 20254.0Overall, we are pleased with our apartment at the Flat’s at Summit Station. The maintenance staff and office staff are really helpful and responsive to issues that arise. The amenities (i.e. washer/dryer in apartment, pool, clubhouse, grill and outdoor area, etc…) and location near the Montour Trail and T station are definite positives. In terms of negatives: The owners did raise the rent notably one year (with more modest increases the other years) and the shops that were to be built are still no where to be found. The builders work was a C at best. I would recommend the Flat’s as an upscale apartment option in the South Hills.

The properties are well maintained and any minor issues with a unit were always handled immediately. We found the community to be very welcoming, and was the perfect place to meet some friendly and familiar faces.

It often sounds like constant stomping and banging at all hours, making it difficult to rest or enjoy being at home. I understand some noise is expected in apartment living, but this goes beyond normal and affects daily life. I truly enjoy the community otherwise, but I believe management needs to address this issue so residents can feel comfortable in their own apartments.

I absolutely loved my unit, the neighborhood was wonderful and being right on the Montour Trail was great. I met some really wonderful friends and the property manager Josh was always so nice to deal with. I can’t recommend these apartments enough!
