  My son rented a unit at the Julian in Pittsburgh. He was a graduate student at Carnegie Mellon University. From beginning to end the process was seamless. Madeline ( The property manager at the Julian) Is truly exceptional. Her communication skills are above and beyond. She went out of her way to ensure that we were taken care of and never made us feel like we were a bother. She took multiple videos of multiple units for our son to see as he was not in the Pittsburgh area when he was looking to rent. At the end of his lease, she helped work through an early exit for us as he was able to graduate earlier than expected . She even returned all of the cable boxes that needed to go back to Xfinity for him. I cannot say enough about Madeline and this Property. It was very clean, convenient, safe, and of course, as I mentioned before , most importantly , exceptional customer service. I highly recommend the Julian without any reservation.

  Madeline has been absolutely fantastic, my room has been a blast, the gym is very sufficient, great underground parking, and especially great cleaning staff who I hope get paid very well. A gripe I have is the lack of over-night security, it’s pretty easy for anyone to get in if they think more than 5 seconds about how to go about doing it, and I know of one time where this happened and the person stole someone’s package. They also only have a trash chute with no recycling one…. Madeline deserves to be promoted 10 times over though with how on top of everything she is, even in responding to residents personal messages on her separate work phone.

  My boyfriend and I were one of the first few people to move into this new apartment complex last summer (July 2025). We've been very happy at The Julian and love living here. Madeline has been great to work with. She always asks how we're doing, cares about us beyond being tenants, and is very responsive. Management makes living here fun with social events and gatherings. The Julian is in a great location- easy to get anywhere downtown and safe area. The 10th floor lounge and lobby area are always beautifully decorated and change with the season/ holiday. We hosted Friendsgiving in the lounge and so many of our friends complemented the lounge area and decorations! We use the grills frequently and there are tables on the rooftop to sit outside on a nice day. We've really enjoyed living at The Julian and highly recommend it to anyone!

  We moved into The Julian in January and honestly, it has exceeded every expectation. From day one, this place has felt less like an apartment and more like a home, and so much of that comes down to the quality of both the building and the people behind it. The apartments themselves are absolutely stunning. Everything is brand new such as the sleek countertops, modern fixtures, and beautifully designed kitchen make everyday living feel elevated. But the real game-changer? The in-unit washer and dryer. It sounds simple, but it genuinely transforms your routine in the best way. The entire complex has this effortless luxury feel! It’s clean, well-maintained, thoughtfully designed, and the kind of place you’re proud to come home to. Our leasing agent, Madeline, truly deserves her own paragraph. She was outstanding from start to finish. She was incredibly communicative, always responsive, always clear, and never left us guessing about next steps. She took the time to actually listen to what we were looking for, answered every question with patience and detail, and made what can be a stressful process feel completely seamless. She’s professional, warm, and genuinely invested in making sure her residents are happy. If you’re considering The Julian, ask for Madeline! You won’t regret it. Maintenance has also been a really pleasant surprise. Anytime something comes up, it gets handled fast and without any hassle. “T” on the maintenance team is the absolute sweetest! She is always so friendly and genuinely takes pride in the work. It’s a small thing but it really does make a difference. And the location is just perfect. Restaurants, shops, schools, grocery stores, hospitals - everything is so close by. It’s one of those areas where you realize how much easier life is when everything is just accessible. Seriously, if you’re looking for a place, come to The Julian. Ask for Madeline. You’ll thank yourself later.

  My experience leasing here was extremely smooth thanks to Madeline. She helped with touring, move-in, and answered all general questions in a timely manner. The moving process only took about a week total (from signing to move-in.) The other staff members are very kind and helpful as well. The rooms and amenities are spacious and very well-kept. Extremely pleased!
