This is by far the worst place I have ever lived. To be clear, the apartment itself isn’t terrible — it’s actually fine. The problem is the unbearable noise. I live on the fourth floor of the Pend building, right next to a busy intersection. At night it gets so loud that I often can’t sleep. For over $2,000 a month for a small studio, this simply doesn’t make sense. The apartment might look okay on paper, but the noise level makes it nearly unlivable. Additionally, the cost of breaking a lease, if you have to due to life changes, is huge. They will charge you 3 + 1 = 4 months rent. This is robbing.

The Penn building is brand new, everything is high end, the location is great (you can walk everywhere). The management is great, they are all so nice and attentive. Parking is covered, you can pay rent online, there are lots of amenities including a dog park area and a free coffee machine.
