I genuinely wanted to give this building a fair chance, but my experience has been extremely disappointing. I’m writing this in hopes that management finally takes residents’ concerns seriously.
Since moving in, I’ve experienced ongoing maintenance issues that should not be happening in a newer building. Problems take too long to address, and communication is often unclear or inconsistent. It feels reactive rather than proactive.
Cleanliness is another major issue. Common areas — especially stairwells and trash rooms — are frequently dirty and poorly maintained. For the price residents are paying, this is unacceptable.
Security and safety are also concerning. There have been instances that made me feel uncomfortable, and it does not feel like resident safety is being prioritized. For a building charging premium rent (plus expensive parking), I expect a much higher standard of protection and upkeep.
What’s most frustrating is the inconsistency in rule enforcement and the lack of accountability. Policies seem to change depending on who you speak to, and fines or warnings feel selective rather than fairly applied.
This building has potential, but potential doesn’t justify the cost. Until management improves transparency, maintenance response times, cleanliness standards, and security measures, I cannot recommend living here.
I truly hope this review leads to meaningful change.
The new property manager Kevin is rude and should not have his job he just makes the people living here lives miserable and harder. Bcuz he is spiteful and does not actually wanna help people. Parking should not be $300 a month. The Boston st gate was down for over 4 months and they have not fixed it.

Lets get some things straight. Most people leaving negative reviews are mad their apartment flooded. Sure, reasonable issue to be mad about. However, blaming Kevin (Building Manager) is pointless...he just got here. The blame should be directed toward the owners of the building who most likely cut costs for profit, resulting in the building to have these issues. Mind you, the building has been open for less than a year and half. Kevin is putting his touch on this building and giving it a true effort and is much appreciated. We live in KENSINGTON. Enjoy the apartment events, grab yourself a drink or two, eat some chick fil a and go to sleep.
DO NOT MOVE HERE! I have nothing to good to say about this place. The worst thing about this place is management the reviews you see are unfortunately right. The property manager is very rude to the tenants and does not show any level of actual care. The best thing about the building is the custodian maintenance person Kevin who is always sweet and kind and works hard to clean up the building. RESIDENTS ARE UNHAPPY AND MANAGEMENT WANTS TO KEEP THROWING ROOFTOP PARTIES. If you're thinking about this building please RUN.

I wasn't going to leave a review of this place until I moved out in a month but I honestly couldn't even wait that long. I was one of the early residents in this building when it first opened in Jan 2025 and since I've seen the building go through many changes. All in all, I would encourage anyone NOT to move here. Not sure if the property is deleting the real reviews because so many residents complain about this place but here are a few reasons why:
1.The building is poorly made. Constant leaks and floods. I came home to my entire apartment flooded and my camera equipment ruined and the property manager didn't even acknowledge me after entering my unit and assessing the damage.
2. A subpoint to #1, the walls are paper thin. I can hear the lives of every single neighbor and I can hear every footstep of my neighbor above me.
3. The building is unsafe and not protected. When I first moved here, they had overnight security and he was amazing. They didn't renew the security contract for the building and since then homeless people have broken in & stolen packages, loitered in the lobby and hallways all night and will often camp outside the front door during the night. Instead of providing the residents with security because we're in KENSINGTON, we get emails blaming us for holding the door open for people behind us. Also, parking is $300/month for a broken garage and car theft is very prevalent in the area.
4. Building is often dirty. Especially trash rooms. See photo attached of people letting their dog pee & poop in the elevators. Also, the community dog park area.
5. Management is very rude - this honestly should have been point #1. Rules are enforced inconsistently, fines are issued for things that are commonly allowed or previously overlooked, and communication has become unclear and reactive rather than proactive. Policies seem to change depending on who you interact with, and there’s very little continuity from one manager to the next. For example, I was playing fetch on the community roof with my dog one day and the property manager saw me and waved. The next week, I was doing the same and was fined $300 for having my dog off a leash.... on a community roof by myself in a "pet-friendly" building.
I could go on & on but honestly, just save your money and your time. I have friends who live within walking distance and pay significantly less for better. For context, with utilities I was paying $1745 for a tiny one-bedroom apartment while comparable buildings like Jasper House or Hagert & York (within spitting distance) are closer to $1400. I'm so excited to be moving in a few weeks and hopefully will never see this place again!
