  Solon was a great realtor to have during a first time buying experience. He was helpful every step and was able to explain everything in great detail, knowledgeable, and patient. He was able to help me successfully purchase my first time home. I will be recommending Solon to family and friends that are in the Philly area!   I worked with Dan Decklebaum on the sale of my condo. Dan helped me find painters and repairmen to spruce the place up before putting it on the market. He was professional and worked with me to ensure I received a good price for my property. I received an offer within the first 3 days! I was very satisfied with the process.

  This experience of buying a new construction from these people has been a complete nightmare. It’s only been a month and a half since closing. We can’t even live in the home! The video is our current home.They had to come and tear up the whole bottom floor, which is our bedrooms and bathrooms. There is water coming up from both bedroom floors, water leaking from the window, the heat stopped working, the hot water heater stopped working, rigged sump pump, and there was a sewage smell in my unit. I expressed concerns prior to closing to my realtor and he assured me everything was fine. I have several text messages from him and the general contractor telling me there’s nothing wrong with my unit. The lies and deceit is unbelievable all which I have in writing. I trusted these people with all of the money from a prior home sale and they sold me a disaster. I have a daughter in college that I am fully responsible for and they were only concerned about the property sale, not me or my family. The realtor observed uncertified people installing a rigged sump pump and said nothing. He allowed the builder to make changes after inspection. He is friends with the builder and seller so his concern was them and not me as his client. I wouldn’t put this experience on my worst enemy. Everyday in this property is a new issue. About two weeks of me being in the property and I started to see what was going on, I attempted to jump on a Zoom with the owners of the real estate office, but they were too busy. The emotional and financial stress is unbearable. If the agent would have just taken the time to listen to my concerns, as opposed to telling me everything was fine; this wouldn’t be an issue right now. I didn’t want to close, but the lender threatened me with more fees if I didn’t. My realtor said/did nothing to protect me as a buyer. Update : The owner’s response below is not what was emailed to me. I was threatened with an attorney/CEASE and DESIST and was told the following: “will take all necessary steps to protect our reputation and business interests” After everything I’ve been through, don’t have a home to live in, the deceit from the realtor who works for their real estate group- their concern is themselves..Not me as a buyer or even as a human being.
