I am a new tenant and my experience with the office staff and maintenance requests has been exceptional. Far better than I could have imagined.

Wasn’t bad, but I wouldn’t recommend. I just gave my 90 day notice to vacate, they charge an additional two months rent after you move out if you’re not at the end of your lease. Even if you’re giving 90 days notice. But oh well, I guess I didn’t read the lease close enough.

The majority of my four stars are owed to the tenants that make up this neighborhood. They are generally friendly, kind, and it feels like a community. The apartments are spacious, and they have a variety of plans to choose from.
Recently, the change in management has brought a lot of higher expenses (now being charged for clubhouse use, move out inspection fees). The changeover was not smooth in my opinion, and I would have appreciated that both the residents and the front office been given more communication. The apartments themselves are well insulated from outside noise, upstairs impact noise is still able to be heard. Also note that many recent reviews are intended for maintenance service, and not the complex as a whole (we are sent out surveys).
The water is an ongoing issue for many tenants. When it was implemented it was not clear how the charges were being divided, and after the recent management change, charges have almost doubled. Despite saying its based on usage, the rates are the exact same for two months in a row. Many residents have brought up concerns over this, without resolve.

Overall, nice place to live. They now charge for ALL utilities. Water, sewer, and trash on top of your electric. You have to also pay a yearly fee to use the amenities (swimming pool and exercise room). All of these things were included in the rent a year ago, but are now all charged to the residents. There was no warning about most of these charges until we received our lease renewal. On top of the new charges, they also raised our rent. The people at the office are very nice, but I think the way they introduced the new charges, without warning, was disappointing. The new ownership should have handled this better. Gradually adding these new charges instead of hitting your residents with all of them at one time would have been a little more acceptable. Again, it is a nice area to live in, and the property is well maintained. I just hoped the new ownership would have been more appreciative of their current residents, instead of hitting them with more expenses the minute they took over.
