I have been going through the signing process and it has been one of the most frustrating experiences. I was told by numerous staff members from various different properties owned by this same company that my dog breeds would be allowed. I was given a list of banned breeds every single visit and my dog was not on there. Corporate eventually says my breed is not allowed because it is a "hybrid" of one of the banned dog breeds. This is definitionally not true. I have been trying to get a contact e-mail from the front desk to speak with corporate to learn more about the decision and get clarity but have yet to get one. It seems very clear the corporate team operates on different standards than the front office and does not communicate those top to bottom. I would have never applied and paid the hundreds of dollars had I known.

I am new the to community and feel so welcomed . Everyone is the leading office and Mr Darwin is so supportive, pleasant and professional.

We've been living here for about 1 year now and have nothing but good things to say about it! The apartments are beautiful, the community is quiet, safe, and everyone is very kind. The management and maintenance team gets an A+ from us as well!
During our move in process, the team was very communicative and they were able to assist us in getting through the stressful process of moving. Everything went smoothly because management had everything settled for us when we arrived.
The response to maintenance requests from the team is awesome! We have had a few instances where something breaks or leaks (this is inevitable...) and the management and maintenance team are typically on it within 24 hours. In each incident they were very communicative about what was going on and what the estimated timeline was.
For instance, over the summer our AC unit broke, and they had someone come out the same day and take a look at it. They needed to order a part for the unit, but they communicated the entire process and we were kept in the loop regarding how long it would take (only 1 day) and when it would be fixed.
I also love that the Amesbury community has a common forum, so we get email updates any time something is happening in the community. I always feel like I know what is going on when important things are happening.
We take a walk around the community every single day (yes, winter included.... the sidewalks are well-kept) and we appreciate how lucky we are to be in such a beautiful and comfortable community. Overall, the environment is charming, and the people are awesome.

Beautiful townhomes, quick maintenance and no issues while living there. Rent is on the pricey end but nice neighborhood. I would have given 5 stars if it wasn't for the charges at move out. We were charged $248 for carpet cleaning plus $2800 for replacing the carpet. We lived there for 3 years and the carpet was not new at moved in. I have pictures of the condition of the carpet at move out and there were no ripping or damage, just a couple of stains that could have been cleaned out. Talking to others who have moved out they have been charged up to $6000 for carpet replacement. Several people have been charged $3000 plus at move out. It makes me wonder if that is how the landlord makes her money, if there is a commission associated with every move out charge. Again, great place to live but worst place to leave. Also when you sign the lease they make it sound like the rent would only go up by 4% when it expires but it went up as high as 12%.
