Walnut Crossings combines modern apartment living with the comfort of the suburbs, making it a top choice among apartments in Monroeville, PA. All residences are freshly renovated with comfort and style in mind. Choose from studio, one, two, or three-bedroom floor plans in the high-rise buildings, or spacious two-bedroom layouts in the garden buildings. Residents enjoy ample outdoor space, convenient services, and community amenities like a pool, lobby coffee area, and resident events. Ideally located near major employers, shopping, dining, and quick access to the Pennsylvania Turnpike and I-376, getting anywhere is easy.
This business has the most dysfunctional complex I think I have ever seen. I, thankfully, am not a resident here, but visited frequently as I had a dear friend who lived here, who has thankfully since moved out. These apartments have a major issue with racism, to start off. There are a number of problem residents who are very racist, and will make the lives of other tenants absolutely miserable. These people (including an employee! who they allowed to continuing working there!!!) will hurl racial slurs at POC residents, and seem to really target the Indian residents at this complex. It’s so horrible to hear about and I feel terribly for these residents, and nothing has been done about this from what I’ve seen. This complex also has a problem with roaches. My friend had brought this up countless times, yet they ignored her and gaslit her by saying there are no roaches here. I have seen them with my own eyes, they are there and they are German cockroaches (the infesting kind). And so many of the people there are miserable to deal with. They had one office lady who was always so sweet and kind, and I came to find out recently they had fired her. And for what!? She was the only pleasant person to deal with in that office, and now she’s gone. All in all, I do not recommend renting from these people, unless you want harassed by residents for simply being POC, or you want bugs in your home.

WARNING!! DO NOT! I repeat DO NOT sign a lease and move here. Please read in its entirety. If I could give this apartment 0 stars I would. I may file a complaint with the EEOC regarding racists rental practices. The staff mainly Alyssa, Bella, & Michael are unpredictable and very rude. Your rent will fluctuate, without warning. Suddenly there are extra late fees, and miscellaneous fees that come out of nowhere without any explanation or warning .Oh and don't try to call to the rent office to have an intelligent conversation. If they hear you are " Black" or African American they immediately have an attitude and want to go back and fourth . Please do your research and find another apartment complex to live with staff that actually care, and be professional. Not young high school girls who just beep a job! DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!!!! You've been warned!

Living at Monroeville Walnut Crossings has been very rewarding. We love our 1200 sq.ft. end unit, which has two bedrooms; 16’x10’ and 16’ x 13’ and a large living room open to the dining room. The kitchen has everything I need with stainless steel appliances and soft-close cupboards. As we had retired, my husband and I sold our 4-bedroom 1858 sq. ft. Monroeville home and downsized, but we do not miss weeding the garden, paying for lawn service (they do a gorgeous job keeping Walnut Crossings’s grounds beautiful), hauling trash to the curb in the rain (they have a convenient trash chute on every floor plus a dumpster out back for boxes and big items), and a security system that is better than what we had at the house (a friendly Beagle). This was the first and only apartment we looked at because we fell in love immediately with Walnut Crossings Monroeville Apartments on Ivanhoe Drive. It’s close to everything and every kind of store we need plus doctors. They have a huge swimming pool and indoor parking if you pay the extra fee, which is totally worth it. There is a fitness room, a lending library, plenty of closet space, a Social activities room with events put on by management, a convenient way to pay rent electronically, and an exceptional maintenance crew. We have a sliding glass door to a balcony, and we see beautiful sunsets. Any retiree who wants to hang onto their house long after the kids are out on their own need to rethink that and visit here; take a tour and then read the book, “Keep the Memories, Lose the Stuff!”
