- MCMeow ChemyJul 29, 20251.0Was told it was LAW that we needed a Buyers Agent Agreement to tour a home even though I called the listing agent directly to set up an appt to see the home. This a complete falsehood and downright lie. I am a priority Buyer and Pre Approved through my bank and wish to remain unrepresented when touring homes as I tend to find them myself. I understand that as of 08/17/24 in order to tour a home a Consumer Disclosure is provided which is NOT a contract so that Buyers understand the duties of both selling and buying agents as well as dual agents. This is to PROTECT THE CONSUMER not the agents commission. It is deceptive and unfair to make qualified potential buyers to feel pressured into signing a Buyers Agent Contract at the same time as the disclosure to see a property when they are not seeking services through them. To tour a home in PA it is completely legal and okay to be and remain unrepresented. It is a disservice and highly unethical to prevent qualified buyers from seeing homes just because they are unrepresented.
- MSmike sweeneyOct 19, 20235.0I cannot say enough about Etta Norton who is the realtor at Quinn and Wilson that I have used for years to rent apartments and sell my home. She is incredibly thorough, is always upbeat and friendly and has lots of contacts for everything from house cleaning, to house clearing to plumbing, electrical etc. On top of that she is a real advocate for both parties involved in a transaction so everyone walks away satisfied. I have dealt will lots of realtors in my lifetime but Etta is heads and shoulders above the rest. On top of that she keeps you posted about what is going on with your transaction and is there to answer questions, make suggestions and generally smooth the process. You can't get any better than Etta!
- ADAnthony DamarioAug 19, 20201.0Extremely disappointed with how Carol Gillespie handled us trying to buy a home. We looked at the house, put an offer in, she claimed the homeowner didn't respond. Yet when I followed up with her she told me that the homeowner was fixing up the issues with the house that we noticed, and told me our offer was not going to "cut it." Not so much as a counter offer or anything which leads us to believe that she didn't even give the homeowner an offer. She is extremely shady and not doing her job correctly, probably just trying to get a higher commission. I will not be using a realtor from Quinn & Wilson again.
