- MHMichelle HunkerMar 14, 20261.0I started a new build with NV homes back in September. I worked with their lender as well for my loan approval. The process has been challenging. NVM homes made me put more than 10% down as earnest money and I had a hard time receiving a loan approval but some how the lender pushed it through. I pointed out to the loan officer she had wrong balances on my current mortgage and was telling me not to worry about it until spring. This is over 100k difference. Now we are in spring and I am still aggressively short. I have contacted NVM homes to tell them my concerns nobody is listening to me. They are now telling me I didn't do a home contingency and there is no financial contingency either and they have NOT given one out for over 5 years. I did not come with a realtor either. Now I can't get out of my contract and potentially loosing 122k. No one explained me these things that there was no financial contingency. The contract reflects at anytime I would get a denial I would be able to cancel the contract and now they are telling me no. I would have never signed this contract if I understood all of this. I feel like I need to put complaints in with MLS board and NMLS as well for misleading. I am extremely upset and on a fixed income as well. I am really hoping corp or Ryan Homes will contract me about there sub company in regards to this legal matter.
