City apartments with trees, grass, a stream, pool, fitness center, play area. With the setting, a lot of birds, squirrels, and some rabbits. Garages with some apartments. Excellent management and maintenance, who I think all live here. Choices for how you pay rent or report problems. Very dog-friendly. Walking distance to grocery stores, banks, library, schools and more, with stops for 7 city bus routes within a couple blocks; about 15 minutes by bus to downtown. Vintage charm. Also some of the usual problems with older Portland apartments--thin walls, old pipes and other moisture effects --but management and maintenance respond to problems really quickly. I've been here two years, in a unit in the older section (built in the 70s) and the newer (from the 90s), and have liked both sections.
