Give stars? Heck, I'd take stars FROM them if that was an option. Nothing like standing outside in the cold for an hour on a Saturday night with my wife and baby watching the fire trucks pile in, wondering what the heck is going on, just for it to be ignored by the complex like it's just another Saturday night and never be told what went on. Can't wait for the next installment. This has happened 3 times now since we lived here. Maybe don't let krack heds live here and it won't be a problem. Can't wait to move out.
This property has a serious management problem, and it starts with the leasing office.
After applying and paying a holding deposit, communication nearly disappeared. Calls were ignored for weeks and were only answered when made from new phone numbers. Emails went unanswered. When we showed up in person, we were treated dismissively and made to feel like an inconvenience.
We were repeatedly misled about the lease. At one point, we were told it had already been sent but that the leasing agent “forgot to press send.” Later, we were told the documents still needed to be prepared—directly contradicting the earlier claim. After weeks of waiting, the lease finally arrived only five days before our scheduled move-in.
Worse, the lease was incomplete: utility sections were blank, the lease term was incorrect, and when we asked about a specific page, the leasing agent claimed he had “never seen it”—despite it being part of the lease he personally sent us.
Most concerning, we were explicitly reassured that everything was moving forward and told it was safe to submit our 30-day notice to vacate our current apartment. We relied on that reassurance. Meanwhile, weeks passed with no finalized lease, placing us at real risk of being without housing.
What’s misleading is the review profile: many positive reviews appear to come from tours, not from residents who’ve dealt with leasing, contracts, or move-in logistics. Our experience suggests the real issues begin after you apply.
We eventually got our deposit back, but only after escalation. If you value transparency, responsiveness, and basic professionalism, proceed with caution.

**Update- I’m confused. Was there no one on the property yesterday? I went to work and took these pictures of the filth, then came back late in the evening and all of it, if not more, was still there.
You’re “eager to improve?” This has been an issue for months now, just check out some previous reviews from around Thanksgiving. The same trash in their posts is still there in mine. WHY?!?!
And you want a personalized conversation? The only thing I want to hear is the sound of a broom… sweeping away the squalor.
But it’s ok if you don’t want to do anything about it or actually clean it up. Maybe Jennie O’Leary or someone else from the AMC corporate team will care. Perhaps I’ll try my luck there.

Unbelievable filth around the property. MLK entrance had someone camping out just inside over the weekend, with drug paraphernalia and trash from various foodstuffs strewn about. There's also human excrement compressed into the welcome mat just inside the door; watch your feet!
I live on inside of 4th floor and Geezus, don't go up there if you can help it. The breezeway looks like a toxic wasteland and has for a couple months now. I see management has posted about it a couple times with generic responses like, "we value your concerns about cleanliness." IF YOU'RE THAT CONCERNED, THEN SEND SOMEONE TO CLEAN THIS ESS-AYCH-EYE-TEE UP! HOW'BOUT A LITTLE LESS TALK AND A LOT MORE (OR ANY) DISCERNIBLE ACTION?!
Also, the MLK elevator has piss in it, and right outside on the 4th floor, which came from two little black Pomeranian dogs whose owner doesn't feel the need to clean up after them (I witnessed the pissing firsthand).
I'm no fortuneteller, but I'll guarantee you two things: 1) I'll bet they post the same empty-as-it-is-generic response here that they do for every review, and 2) two weeks from now, NOTHING included in this post will either have been addressed or cleaned up. Don't believe me? Get some steps in and walk outside through the 4th floor breezeway, go down the elevator and out the MLK entrance for yourself; just make sure you're up to date on all your vaccines first.
