  Chris helped us find a home after we relocated to Portland. She is professional, experienced, and knowledgeable of local neighborhoods and the local market, but also easy going and easy to get along with. She paid attention to what we were looking for and found places that met our criteria, but didn't rush us or push us into making any particular decision - she gave us her objective feedback, both pros and cons of the different houses we looked at. Chris's experience also was a benefit to us in making a purchase decision - what electrical systems might be a problem? Where was there already earthquake retrofitting? Where is there evidence of water damage showing? And also, what were the special aspects of the houses we looked at? If you're looking to buy or sell a home in the greater Portland area, we highly recommended Chris!

  We met Chris at an open house and I immediately liked how she managed to be attentive without being overbearing or pushy. My husband and I can take a long time to consider how a house feels and how we imagine ourselves living in it. Chris was nothing but helpful, insightful, and informative. She seemed to know when to ask questions and when to let us think. At no point did I feel like she was trying to sell us something that we didn't want. She's amazingly organized and always followed up and followed through. Chris really carried us through the times when we were discouraged by the competitiveness of the market and wondering if what we wanted was out there in our price range. Her consistency makes her invaluable. I cannot recommend her enough especially if you're a first time home buyer and would like an experienced agent who doesn't have major salesperson vibes. I'm definitely sad that we won't be hanging out every weekend anymore but so happy that Chris has been there to guide us to a good home.
