  Choice One Property Management has been great managing our rentals. We were working with another property management firm in town, but moving to Choice One is THE best decision we’ve made. And wish we had done it sooner. Terri and Becky are professional and always follow through on their duties. Our deposits are made on-time, statements are accurate, and for once, our tenants pay their rent on time. I trust them to manage our properties and have found them to have integrity, which is sorely missing in property management companies these days. Highly recommend them!

  AVOID! Don't rent from ChoiceOne if you can help it! The staff (except one) were always rude, and bad at communicating. The lease was very sketchy, beware that they will try to nickel-and-dime you. They did not clean our unit before we moved in, and we had to call in a professional with our own money. It was so bad, that we stayed in a motel the first night! They left an entire litter box in the bathroom for us to deal with?? They took too long to get a plumber when we needed one. We alerted them to wood-boring insects in the walls, and they did nothing. They routinely let the garbage cans overflow, and I saw rats. And when we moved out, we paid for a professional cleaner AGAIN, per the lease rules, and they still said our carpets were dirty and kept that part of our deposit. Not sure what they're spending all that hard-earned rent money on, but it's clearly NOT building maintenance or customer service.

  If I could give Stephanie 10 stars I would! We needed to find a rental quickly and Stephanie made sure that happened. The rental we were interested in posted on Friday, we swung by the Choice One Property Management office on Monday and were approved within hours. She walked us through the process which made it so easy. Would definitely use again. Thank you Stephanie!

  I strongly advise against using this property management company. My experience as an owner was extremely disappointing due to consistent unprofessionalism, poor communication, and lack of accountability. Becky, who answers the phone, was very rude when she believed I was a tenant and only changed her tone once I clarified that I was the property owner. The owner, Terry, demonstrated little concern for the property’s well-being and appeared motivated primarily by profit. She placed an unqualified tenant with substance abuse issues in my unit, then avoided responsibility and offered personal excuses when I attempted to have the matter addressed. After terminating the management agreement due to repeated negligence and failure to properly market or maintain the property, a staff member named Stephanie returned the keys. However, she did not return the mailbox key and responded rudely when I asked her to follow up about it. As a result, I have to pay the post office to change the lock and issue a new key at my own expense. As a veteran, I have dealt with many challenging situations, and horrible people, but this company has the worst people I have met here or over seas with conduct standing out as among the most disappointing and unprofessional I have ever encountered. If you value communication, professionalism, and proper property management, I recommend looking elsewhere.
