  The location is convenient, the amenities are clean, and the environment is quiet and respectful. Jessica is phenomenal! She is professional, has a fantastic attitude, and goes the extra mile to make you feel at home. If you are searching for a new home in the area check this place out.

  Really awesome complex. We stumbled upon it after a long day of looking at different complexes to potentially move to, and the manager, Jess, gave us a thorough tour. We liked the amenities, and the location isn’t far from shopping complexes. Definitely in our top 3! Shout out to Jess for all of her help and support!

  I absolutely love Hana apartments. The amenities are amazing and I love the community. I love how safe and secure the buildings feel. The staff on hand are also super helpful and are quick to respond. Shout out to Jess for all of her help! I’d highly recommend this place to anyone looking to move!!

  Love this place! It is centrally located in Hillsboro, there's a nice park across the street that my dog loves and it's where I want to be in Hillsboro. The apartment complex is very pet friendly and have a little dog park in the back and bags and trash cans for disposal of poo when walking you dog. The front office management staff are professional and courteous who actually try to help with any issues you have. The owners are a different story, but I don't have to deal with them so not an issue. The maintenance workers are always on time and great people who know their job. The tenants are nice, friendly and private, so if looking to meet a lot of individuals and make new friends it could be difficult as most are professionals who work a lot. Everyone I have met and chat with are respectful and courteous. The ONLY negative thing I would say about the complex is charging for a disabled parking spot. The parking is reasonable, but don't if going to charge for handicap parking for indoor parking they should make handicap parking available in the outside are in front of the apartment complex. Overall HANA is a great place to live and is in a great location.

  Regardless of what kind of special you’re being offered, do NOT move here. Hana is one of the lowest rated apartments in the area because it is operated by incompetent and clueless management that doesn’t care about its tenants and won’t care about you. We had to move from our first unit because of 24/7 barking, this wasn’t normal barking, it was clear this dog was neglected or abused day and night. It was so loud you could hear the barking in the hallway on the other side of the building… on a different floor! We complained for months and months, we logged every bark. Hana did nothing. It got so bad we decided to move into a different unit. During the move, Hana bypassed autopay and placed a charge on the old unit which began to collect hundreds of dollars in late fees. I have never once missed a payment of any kind but Hana seemingly intentionally bypassed autopay (which has always been on and working correctly). I contacted management 5 times (through email, call, and in person) to understand why this happened. Explaining the situation over and over again to the same people resulted in the same response: “Oh, we’ll look into it” “Can you clarify the situation you’re talking about?” Given the other reviews, I’m not surprised that Hana will attempt to skim a little bit of money when it gets the chance. In the second unit, one of our neighbor’s AC is so loud it makes the walls and furniture vibrate. I measured it at 80db @ 50hz. This kind of low frequency you feel in your bones. It is louder than any building-shaking construction that was going on last year. It's twice as loud as our own unit’s AC! When informed, Hana did nothing. I’ve never had to deal with a landlord that neglects failing equipment regardless of where it is in the building. There are consistently tons of other issues: Elevators are frequently broken, once it was disabled for a few weeks. There is dog waste smeared in the carpets in the stairwells. Garbage chutes in both buildings were closed for about 2 months with no communication as to when it would be resolved until a few days before they were opened again. Tenants had to take trash down to the parking lot to overflowing bins. Trash would be flying everywhere, onto people’s cars. You have to use the ButterflyMX app to open doors which is extremely slow and unreliable. The door to the package room was broken and only accessible during business hours for a while. The west parking lot gate is permanently stuck open. The door from the parking lot to the lobby in building B needs to be kicked or shoved to open. I’ve been hit in the face 2 times now by someone trying to get in (not their fault). Packages are frequently stolen from both the package room and other areas where deliveries are made. I have permanently lost multiple packages that the courier marked as delivered with photo evidence that were never found again. Shoddy construction. Vinyl is separating from the floors. Electrical outlets are loose and unsafe. When our closet rack snapped, the maintenance guy just bent it back into shape instead of replacing it. It’s $14 at Home Depot. One of the buildings nearby has landscaping done at midnight. Every day here is torture. A prison sentence to be served for the duration of the lease. Hana will not respect the policies in their own lease, and Hana will continue to neglect taking care of equipment inside the apartments and elsewhere on the property. Hana loves to belittle and minimize tenants who leave reviews. Do not contact me. Do not leave me a voicemail. The only thing you can do to change this review is allow me to break my lease for free.
