THIS 5-STAR REVIEW FOR THE COMMONS AT DAWSON CREEK IS SPECIFIC TO A MAINTENANCE TEAM MEMBER, HIS NAME IS VICENTE VEGA. I AM TAKING THE TIME TO RECOGNIZE HIM AND HOPE THAT YOUR CORPORATE MANAGEMENT DOES THE SAME. MR. VEGA IS ALWAYS VERY PROFESSIONAL, COURTEOUS, AND TIMELY. WHEN RESPONDING TO OUR MAINTENANCE REQUEST, HE ASKED IF WE WOULD RATHER HAVE HIM COVER HIS BOOTS BEFORE WALKING AROUND THE APARTMENT. THEN, EACH TIME BEFORE HIS COMPLETION OF THE REQUEST, HE WOULD ASK IF WE WOULD LIKE TO TRY AND SEE IF THE ITEM IS OPERATING CORRECTLY, AND IF POSSIBLE, IF HE NEEDED TO RETURN WITH A NEW OR DIFFERENT PART, HE WOULD LET US KNOW WHETHER IT WOULD BE THAT DAY OR THE NEXT. ALL IN ALL, MR. VEGA WE APPRECIATE VERY MUCH HIS PROFESSIONALISM AND COURTEOUSNESS, AND TO TOP IT ALL OFF, HE DID IT WITH A SMILE. WE NEVER SENSED ANY "BOTHERSOME" OR "OVERLOADED" MINDFULNESS FROM HIM. THANK YOU, MR. VICENTE VEGA OF THE MAINTENANCE TEAM OF THE COMMONS AT DAWSON CREEK.

The office staff claim the apartments have been cleaned when they have not. I spent the first month having to wash grease off cabinets, some sticky substances on the floors, and mold off the windows and corners.
These apartments have a serious mold issue, when asked for help to address no help was provided.
The bathroom vents are faulted and will continuously run for no reason at all. Bought a highend thermostat system to monitor and there was never a condition for the fans to start.
The fire alarm systems are all faulted and go off randomly.
They only communicate to get you into the apartments, once your in you never hear from them again.
Constanly on the lookout for any way they can fine you.
Parking situation is atrocious. They will charge you for a dedicated spot and then tell everyone they can park where ever there is an open space.
Better to save your efforts and find a place somewhere else

Great place to stay. Cozy environment. Nearby to Intel Ronler Acre buildings. Nearby to freeways
Applied for an apartment here when it was advertised at $1,450/month. After paying two application fees, I was informed the actual rent was $1,899 — a $449 jump. This is blatant false advertising. When I requested a refund due to the bait-and-switch, they refused, hiding behind a “non-refundable” policy. I also asked why this jump in price occurred. Their response: an error. So, where’s my refund due to YOUR error?
I even contacted the Oregon Department of Justice, but because of loopholes, they couldn’t help — which means this business gets away with misleading applicants and keeping their money. Renters deserve transparency, not deception.
I want to start out with the good experience and that is the maintenance crew. These guys are smart and very hard workers. You file a maintenance ticket and they will be there to fix it on time with no delay. I needed to replace my brakes and rotate my tires and they helped me find a parking spot that was level I could use.
As for the management side, I had a different experience:
I had neighbors move out, and new ones moved in above me. For three months straight, the office did nothing about the high levels of noise coming from the family above me. I sent more than 30 emails over a 3 month period of dealing with this, and they did nothing about it. I sent so many audio recordings of the noise and still no help from the office. This went for 3 months straight. For 3 months, I probably got 3 to 4 hours a night of sleep. This literally affected me while I was at work.
I'm currently waiting to hear back from the office about the family upstairs throwing eggs on my ac unit, throwing eggs in front of my door, and still the high level of noises coming from upstairs.
Thankfully, when these upstairs neighbors moved in, my lease expired, and I did not renew it because I was concerned about how the office would deal with the matter. I'm so thankful I listened to my gut feeling because the office handled this matter poorly, and my life for 3 months was horrible. Every time I got off work, I didn't want to come home because I knew what I was going home to. After the second month of the constant noise, the apartment did not feel like home anymore. There were a few nights I slept in my truck because my upstairs neighbors were so loud.
Anyways, I'm moving out at the end of this July.
Side note:
The jacuzzi has never worked since I lives there for a year. My neighbors were there for 6 Years and they said they've never seen the jacuzzi work. Also, the sauna does not work well either. If you want to use it you need to turn the timer on and come back about 90 minutes later to restart it and coming back another 90 minutes later just for it to be kind hot.
This is my experience while living here.
