  We stayed here for one year and absolutely loved it! The only reason we did not renew our lease is because we are moving out of the State. Altamont was safe, quiet, well taken care of and communication was very clear from management from beginning to end! If any issues came up in the complex they were on top of it with email communication to us residents and taking care of the issue as quickly as possible. Same with any maintenance requests we had were also handled very quickly. Our pup loved the dog park (although maybe they could move to turf in the future for future puppy residents given the amount of rain we have - just wishful thinking for future residents) and the surrounding areas were great to walk around and enjoy during the beautiful months we do have! I would say the only "cons" would be: 1. Guest Parking can be sparse come the evening time. It doesn't mean there arent enough int he whole complex but it just means sometimes they can't find a spot near your unit. But I feel like that is an issue no matter which apartments you live in. 2. Valet Trash is mandatory to pay for. With our unit we were right by a dumpster so found ourselves paying for something we didn't use/take advantage of but maybe a handful of times in the year. We were on the bottom floor and I may feel different about this if we were on the top floor though! Although no apartment complex is perfect and will always have issues that arise, it is how they are handled and communicated that is important and I feel like the management here did a wonderful job at that! Would highly recommend this apartment complex!

  I visit my cousin at Altamont and when we go in the leasing office for coffee, everyone in the office is SO FRIENDLY! They know my cousins name and her dogs name too. We came back in when I visited 2 weeks later, and Jessica remembered my name even though I’m not a resident. Once my lease is up in St. John’s I’ll definitely move here!

  Such an amazing team! The property is beautiful and we love living here. From the manager, to leasing staff and facilities. Thank you for being an amazing place for me and my kiddo to live.

  Had a touring appointment scheduled for 2:00pm and was texted 35 minutes beforehand informing us that our tour was cancelled. Our drive to the property is 50 minutes long so didn’t see the message until we had arrived. Might be an indicator of property management capability or capacity to handle the number of tenants they serve.

  I used to love this place. One of the reasons I loved it was based on the community. Then they closed the clubhouse for months to do renovations and when it finally opened they decided they won't let residents use it anymore.. This was an important benefit to us. The apartments aren't big enough to have more that a couple guests. We used to be able to reserve the clubhouse for gatherings. Now they have taken away this amenity and guess what they aren't comping our rent. We always left the clubhouse clean after use. Many of us our now considering moving on to new places where we feel welcome and valued. It is still be advertised on the website as an amenity.
