- JZJoshua ZumwaltFeb 19, 20261.0Beware. My father with Alzheimer's suffered a stroke and was paralyzed. He wound up here. In his confusion he would attempt to stand. Instead he would fall. The facilities response? Put a mat on the floor and label future falls as self-harm. To be clear: The Rehab team seems good. The nurses and CNA's very dutiful but overwhelmed. But there is a clear failure on the part of their administration and their physicians. Take your loved ones home if you can.
