Overall, there are way better apartment complexes to choose if you want to live in Beaverton. I lived here for about a year and a half, and it left a lot to be desired. I understand both the negative reviews and some of the positive experiences that people have written about their time here, and all I can do is share my own. I'll start with the things I like. The location is convenient, with the complex being very close to an Asian grocery store and a lovely park. It's also near the Washington Square Mall. The apartments themselves feel safe, although there is a risk of porch piracy, and I have witnessed some neighbor cars with shattered windows. The buildings themselves are decent, they look fairly nice and are a good use of space. However, they are honestly a ripoff. Commons at Redwood Creek is one of the few places to allow tenants to sign month-to-month leases, which provides flexibility but ends up being a lot more expensive in the end, especially with their constant rent increases. I've found better two-bedroom places nearby for hundreds of dollars less per month after leaving. I didn't have too many problems with Andi Wilde or the administrative staff. I thought everyone was pretty friendly and responsive to any emails. However, it was frustrating at the end because the leasing office wouldn't let me remove my name from the lease despite my co-tenant and I agreeing to part ways and me giving the leasing office a month's notice. I would definitely be cautious before signing any lease with these people. Maintenance was pretty hit or miss. They're absolutely useless at keeping the streets safe for residents during snowstorms, and I know for a fact that not all places neglect things like this. I would, however, like to commend them for giving us a plunger during the snowstorms when the toilet got clogged. They are not helpful when it comes to extermination of annoying insects/arachnids. My current apartment has done so much more than the workers at Redwood Creek ever had.

Wanted to give a huge shout out to Luis from the maintenance team. We’re in a one-bedroom apartment with one toilet, and it started malfunctioning on the weekend. The front office mentioned they are short-staffed on maintenance team members and that they don’t typically work on the weekends, which I can understand… but we were without a place to use the restroom! 😬 Luis was the on-call management member for the weekend, came in and quickly helped us to resolve the issue. He was very respectful and understanding, and was in-and-out of our apartment within 5 minutes, quickly resolving the issue and wished us a good rest of the evening. Thanks again to Luis! He was our hero this evening and I wanted to make sure he got recognition for his great work!
