- ASAsima Shaikh4 days ago1.0If anyone’s looking for student housing in the Waterloo region, I would advise you to steer away from the MARQ as a management. Not only do they not take concerns seriously, their management is inconsistent, unreliable, and disorganized. My living conditions were horrible and I reached out to them with my concerns, for MONTHS with no help at all. They’re a greedy money hungry management that does not take the care of their residents seriously. They’ve changed locks on my unit with no heads-up, never did routine inspections after complaints and never took any responsibility for their terrible management. A group of 5 year olds could run the building better. Whatever you do, steer away. I would have rather lived on a park bench. They don’t even deserve 1 star.

Rent is getting pretty expensive for the quality of this place. Because of all the leaks (i was away for 3 weeks for xmas break) my shower is now moldy and bathroom flooded. So gross.
