  Well maintained property, management is very personable and helpful. I’m very fond of the gardens and the apple orchard next door.

  I viewed both properties, Macintosh and Brookside with the resident Manager, Yasmin. These buildings were so cute and well maintained. Although I couldn’t rent there, Yasmin offered to put me on await list. She was friendly, kind and had a lot of knowledge about the area. It was a pleasant experience.

  I was a tenant in unit 309 from 23/08/01 to 24/08/01, and cannot recommend renting from this place based from my personal experience. The rental is incredibly overpriced and conditions are sub-par. The building is pretty dated and falling apart while absolutely reeking of cigarette and marijuana smoke; even though there is a no smoking policy in place. We fought tooth and nail to keep our unit from smelling like either, and still ended up doing wash every other day due to the smoke permeation staining our clothes and sheets. We spent the entirety of our 1 year tenancy with cockroaches in the unit, had multiple treatments done with no success (Only treatment done was basic bait and poison), pretty sure the entire building or at least top floor is infested. The unit was "newly renovated"; meaning a fresh coat of white paint over everything, including the smoke tainted walls (yellow smoke residue was leeching through paint in bathroom) and stick down flooring that was raising in multiple locations. Unit walls are paper thin and horribly insulated, so we heard everything from other units both around and struggled to keep the place cool or warm in the summer/winter. Unit has no A/C and inefficient baseboard heaters, so having multiple fans/ portable a/c units* is a must. *Upper floors can't have window mount a/c units

  The most unorganized, unprofessional place I've ever lived. They called me the day before I was supposed to move in, to let me know They had actually rented the place to somone else. I ended up getting into an all inclusive unit as per their advertisement. 15 months later they back charged me 1500$ for utilities. The previous tenant still has a key to my unit and they won't change my lock. I had a pet when I moved in and was asked Many times by an individual in management if he was still alive until he passed away at the age of 4 from a mysterious respiratory complication which makes me suspicious of the air quality in the unit. Possibly mold of some sort. The windows leak profusely as well as the outside door. Inspections were done while I was at work and upon returning I found they had turned all my lights on and left them that way for the entire day. This happened multiple times costing me extra on the hydro bill that they said was Inclusive when I moved in. I'm 24, and my hair has started turning grey since I've moved in. Save yourself the time and money and go live in a dumpster. You'll be more comfortable.
