  This is in response to the one star review provided 3 weeks ago. I’d like to say thank you to Miss Matta who filled in for Miss Julie and assisted us with our final walk through. We were surprised when we walked in and found a dirty house that smelled like a cat box with the letters “F U” written with thumbtacks on the cork board (real classy). But Matta stepped up and arranged for a house cleaner to come the next day before we started moving in. Both my sons are allergic to cats and we found cat litter on the bathroom floor. I wouldn’t leave a mess like that for my worst enemy, but apparently that was the sellers way of getting us back at us for all the things she said we did wrong; of which is completely untrue. I’d like to set the record straight. First off, yes, our realtor did bring her son with her to look at the home. She thought I was bringing my son who is the same age but we left him with his older brother. And her son is very well behaved. Her child did not “mess up” any toys or books as previously stated. Second, 30k below asking? Your listing price was $284 and you accepted $265. That is $19k. The math isn’t mathing. “Concessions” are part of the process so those should be a given. Either way, lots of exaggeration in that review. Third, is the earnest money. The offer was accepted on Thursday, October 24th and earnest money was received on Tuesday October 29th. Per Oklahoma state law, a buyer has 3 business days to put up the earnest money. Weekends don’t count. So it was received ON TIME. Not “almost a week later” as previously mentioned. So again, this one star review is based on inaccurate information. Fourth, the AC inspection. No one asked to make repairs on it, just for it to be inspected. Not sure where the lines were crossed but we certainly weren’t trying to repair anything. But as buyers, we had the right to request for anything to be inspected, that’s how buying a house works. You can’t deny access to these inspections, especially when WE are paying for them. Fifth, “buyers wanted to come weekly.” We asked to come ONCE to measure the back door for a dog door and also measure the fridge space and the washer and dryer space (by the way, thanks for the fridge!), but you kept saying no. So we kept rescheduling. So saying we asked to see the house weekly is a flat out lie. We only needed to come ONCE but you would not budge with scheduling. Finally, when you agreed on a time, you were 15 minutes late in leaving. And we weren’t even inside for 10 mins. So again, incorrect information provided in a review. Sixth, pushing back the closing. It was schedule for 12/11. And per your review, you stated everything was set for 12/11, so technically, it wasn’t pushed back at all! BUT the loan docs were actually received 12/10 due to your insane temper tantrum and the hard work of our realtor. Either way, 3 days, where is that coming from? It literally closed 12/11. And even if it closed 12/13, 3 days is 3 days! Have you ever had someone completely back out the day before closing? That sucks more. 3 days isn’t that serious. It doesn’t warrant a huge FU on the wall of the house you just sold. Especially when it closed ON TIME on 12/11. Lastly, I wanted to clear the air on the kindness and heartfelt apologies received by McGraw and their realtors. They stepped up when we needed them to and they took care of our needs. If I didn’t already have a realtor I absolutely love, I’d recommend them in a heartbeat. But make sure you read ALL reviews, as some might just be dramatized due unhappiness and the need to point fingers. Thanks again!
