- RRRuthOct 28, 20252.0I really like this apartment — great location, nice amenities, and the rooftop pool is amazing. No complaints there. The only downside is when it comes time to renew. My rent went up by over $124, and the leasing office wouldn’t negotiate at all. They just say it’s “based on the market,” even though nearby comparable apartments are renting for less. The property is owned by another company that’s hard to reach, and the leasing office won’t share any contact info. They claim to reach out but never show any proof or updates. Feels like they just don’t care once you’re already a tenant. If you’re only planning to stay for one year, it’s a great spot — but for long-term renters, I wouldn’t recommend it. Reply to the cosmopolitan owner: the $124 increase is hard to justify given current market rates. The renewal increase is above nearby market rates. I’ll follow up by email as suggested, but I do hope there’s a willingness to review this more reasonably.
