  Me and my friend moved in on August 1st of 2024 and moved out July 31st 2025. It was the worst experience, and I really wish I was exaggerating. I’m not the type of person to make reviews about anything and I hoped that the experience would improve over the year we lived there but it did not. When we moved in, on the day we had been scheduled to move in for weeks, we all arrived with trailers and cars full ready to move in. We got there and were told our unit was given to someone else but the “new” one wasn’t ready yet, it would be ready in about A WEEK. After telling them that we had to move in on that day, they eventually found an empty apartment without appliances and needed cleaning. Eventually my dad had to step in and make a plan FOR THE EMPLOYEES to make sure we got moved in. We waited for around 3 hours for the cleaner to get there and another hour for her to finish a mediocre cleaning job. The fans were all sticky and dusty, doors had foot sized holes in them and the air conditioner didn’t work. There were stains on the kitchen floor and counters. It was embarrassing, being there with my family and seeing the condition it was in. Finally we get there and it’s “clean” and it’s not even the same unit we were promised. We paid for and needed a unit with no carpet, and had a cigarette smoke soaked carpeted apartment. Hours from our families home we couldn’t turn back we had no choice but to move in and hope this wasn’t normal. While we lived there Krista was nothing but rude anytime we needed anything. She was mean answering any questions I had and condescending anytime I tried to find some common ground. Eventually I just couldn’t speak to her because I knew she wasn’t going to take into account anything I had to say. The ONLY good thing about Chapel Ridge Apartments were the handymen. They were not given the appropriate tools to do their jobs but they were the only ones nice to me and could help me as much as they could. We just moved out and got less than 25% of our security deposit back because the blinds were damaged (which I understand because I had a cat and I wasn’t arguing that damage), some trash wasn’t collected and there was “more cleaning needing to be done.” We’re not crazy messy people and even if we were, there is absolutely no way it was anywhere close to how awful it was when we arrived last year. I went in to collect my deposit and Krista was incredibly condescending and mean the entire time. I had to wait in the car and my boyfriend had to go in to talk to her because I just couldn’t handle her anymore. He went in and explained how what we were given back was not enough to compensate for the situation but she completely disregarded his arguments. Luckily he had a chance to warn the other couple looking to move in to save themselves. Long story short, Krista ruined my experience there, and I hope no one else has to go through what we did. Save yourselves. I added some pictures of what it looked like after we moved in and it was “cleaned.”

  Great staff from the office to the maintenance crew their level of professionalism and attentiveness makes the complex feel like a home.

  September 5th my son got out of icu children's hospital in okc. My wife and I was there with him 2 weeks. His lung almost collapsed from rhino virus. My wife's only one working due to me having lots of health issues. She missed 2 weeks work cus of icu visit. When she got back to work they cut her hrs from 42 to 19 a week. For 2 weeks she tried finding new job. Finally she did. Than he ended up back in icu. I stayed with him at hospital while she worked. We tried working our money situation out with Chappell ridge manager Krista. She did not care about our situation. As she said she was going evict us even though we have money coming to pay rent. They did not want to accept partial payments and or wait for payment even though both me and my son is ill. They don't care about families here in these apartments. Took whole yr for us have bathroom lights. Still have not had smoke detectors for full yr. Their not concern with a family's bad times even if your in hospital . Not the place to live in stillwater. Krista I pray.to God your family doesn't have to go threw what my family is enduring. You should have lot more heart for those struggling. December 1st cannot come fast enough. We will see you or your company in court with full documents showing you would not work with us in our hard times. People they are heartless 💔 here at chappel ridge

  Have lived here for almost a year with my wife and kids. Despite the black mold everywhere and the life threats from the neighbors. We are charged for a pool that has been filled all summer but closed. And they have stolen rent. Plz be warned before renting from this company.
