  One star is honestly too high for these crooks. Ordered a house from them they told me it would 3-4 weeks, after 3.5 weeks the “manager” John told me it would be another 3-4 weeks before it was built because “3-4 weeks was not a time frame just what they tell people” this continued till the house showed up 13.5 weeks later. Then there “pad builders” put the pad in the wrong spot even though it was staked out like they wanted, where to put it, and John told me it was my fault for not talking to the pad builders first, who’s info I was never given until I’ll called to complain. Once the house was set one of the exterior doors didn’t not open or shut correctly, I contacted the “service manager” Roddy who told me it would either leak air and be usable or not leak air and not be usable. After the door leaked enough water to almost flood my house and I threaten to get a attorney involved, Clayton sent a independent contractor out to properly fix the doors in the house. As well as multiple times I contacted Clayton corporate, just to get the answer, we got your money who cares if your house is livable or not. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE CROOKS.

  So at many points during my home buying experience i wanted to write this review because i was extremely satisfied with their service and how fast and on top of things they were, but i held off because i just kept expecting a curve ball at some point, maybe some extra expensives snuck in at closing, or a delay in home delivery.... well at closing the expected cost was actually LOWER, and my house came much faster than I could’ve imagined and the set up was very fast also. I looked at many places prior to choosing Clayton Homes in Muskogee, and i even went to Clayton Homes in Tulsa, I’m extremely glad i picked the branch in Muskogee, the Tulsa branch never called me to update me i always had to call them and i just felt like I wasn’t important to them, the Muskogee branch was COMPLETELY opposite, they made me feel like they had no other customers and it was all about us! They made our first time home buying experience super easy and i highly recommend them. Lisa worked so closely with me, she gave me her personal cell number and ALWAYS replied to me (even on her days off!) and consistently updated me on absolutely everything. At one point i had a concern about where the house was going and how much it was going to cost me to level it and the manager John drove an hour out to look at the land for me. Clayton Homes in Muskogee makes a great team and their service doesn’t get much better!
