  Overall, would I do it again? Not likely. Our project manager (Brett) was great. Otherwise the list of problems is this: POOR CRAFTMANSHIP - lots of things are not square, finishing work was sloppy, cheap materials, driveway is spalling only 2yrs in (and only 6 months for some) WAARRANTY WORK/GUARANTEE IS SUBPAR - you'll get, say, 164 nail pops, but person who comes out to fix those will only do a fraction of them. Oh, and eventually you feel them in the floor too, if you have carpet. FALSE ADVERTISEMENT - we were sold on a playground, a pool, and a community clubhouse. For a development of 320+ houses, we got a playset with slides ONLY, a pool so small it will be like swimming in people soup, and a pool house (bathrooms) instead of a community clubhouse. UNAVAILABLE UPGRADES - we were one of the earlier families to purchase in the new development, and were offered a very basic package with few upgrades (Lifestyles, I believe). Then a year or so later, we learned that more recent buyers were offered more extensive upgrades. This may or may not be a common issue, but the day after we signed, the price of the house we purchased dropped 20k. Ryan absolutely would not budge, or offer reimbursement in any form (our specific request/suggestion to upgrade some things at no extra charge to compensate was denied also.) In addition, not long after we moved in, our model of house was replaced with an updated version/layout that is way more functional. Just irritating all around.

  We are currently finishing our build with Ryan homes in Brookside greens. Ashley Shepherd has been amazing through every step of the process. She explained all the options that comes along with the build and made sure to find the house that fit our families needs. Ashley was great at keeping in contact and getting back with us with any questions we had along the way. As for our construction, the head manager Brett K was outstanding. Every process of the build he would send us weekly updates and even provide us with pictures. He was very accommodating with days and times for us when we were able to come and look at the house in person. They are a great team and highly recommend anyone looking to go through them for future builds with Ryan Homes.

  We couldn't be happier with our new home! Jennie & Brett were amazing to work with & helped us with any questions we had along the way. This process was so much fun & we appreciated the professionalism of the entire team. Ryan Homes has developed an easy & stress free process that allows anyone to build their first home. We couldn't recommend it more!
