We had less and a week turn around from tour to getting our lease signed. Could have been even faster if there weren't some personal holdups. Jessica in the leasing office is great and was super helpful every step of the way!

My experience at Butternut Ridge has unfortunately aligned with many of the concerns mentioned in previous reviews. This community has potential, but the overall experience does not justify the premium rent residents are paying.
While I understand management has policies to follow and jobs to protect, there needs to be stronger accountability and proactive oversight from Nolan Living to ensure the property is properly maintained. Residents are paying significant rent and deserve consistent upkeep and responsiveness.
The property needs updated appliances, more reliable and timely maintenance support, and better attention to daily operational responsibilities. Preventative maintenance should be prioritized so issues are addressed before they become larger problems.
Safety is also a serious concern. Anyone can walk into the buildings without restriction, which does not provide residents with a sense of security. Drivers frequently speed through the property, and there are children who wait for the school bus here. Speeding vehicles create an unnecessary and dangerous risk.
Quality-of-life concerns are also ongoing. The smell of marijuana is frequently present throughout the buildings. In addition, some tenants allow their dogs to bark continuously at all hours of the night and early morning. Living in a shared building should come with reasonable noise expectations, and these issues significantly impact residents’ ability to feel comfortable in their own homes.
The parking lots require better upkeep. Ice buildup, potholes, and general deterioration create hazards for both adults and children. Parking is also extremely limited during the summer months. Many tenants bring multiple guests, leaving residents who actually pay rent struggling to find parking in their own community.
Additionally, receiving a letter months after moving out stating that you owe money because the apartment was “not up to date” is concerning and feels unethical. These types of issues should be addressed transparently and in a timely manner, not long after a tenant has vacated the property. I’m moving out here soon and my hope is that transparency is kept at the forefront of me moving out.
Overall, there are clear opportunities for improvement. Stronger maintenance standards, better safety enforcement, parking management, and more transparent post-move-out processes would go a long way in reducing the constant turnover of tenants and improving the overall living experience but that is in the hands of the owners of Nolan Living.

Management and maintenance have always been prompt to answer a question or resolve a problem. Community is very nice and well kept. We’ve been very happy here and recommend this community as a place to live.

I've lived at Butternut Ridge for about 3.5 years now and have lived in 3 different apartment units which is pretty crazy, but I like the apartment complex a lot. The amenities are pretty amazing, the gym is surprisingly big, the special events are pretty fun and engaging, the parking garage is a great plus, the pet accommodations are also great, and maintenance is generally pretty on top of it as long as you make your concerns very very clear. Overall, I feel pretty comfortable speaking with the staff for the most part. My friends seem to fall in love when they visit. I love that I live pretty close to the highway, the airport, the mall, and multiple stores and restaurants
Cons (very mild): it is right next to a cemetery, I did have to deal with leakage at one point which is why I moved (but they helped accommodate me with this a bit by allowing me to move into another similar unit), price is ok for everything that I get (but I don't look forward to the raise in rent each year), and the inside of the buildings probably could be cleaned and kept up a bit better. Overall though, the pros heavily outweigh the cons.

Great and fun way to enjoy where you live. We are grateful to live in a great neighborhood that is always trying to improve and find ways to living here better. They definitely try to get the community to know their neighbors from our community center, our cookouts and even down to our new coffee machine. That coffee machine has been great addition to the property actually I’ve seen more neighbors than I have just getting a cup of coffee like we would at Starbucks.
