Lived here for two years. Roaches, lack of maintenance, horrible tenants, horrible parking. Overpriced and needs so much work done to it. Run while you still got the chance

Being in this area for 2 years now. Seeing the amount of bugs in every building genuinely had me scared for the people that have kids. I’ve heard of Bedbugs. Seen Cockroaches, Ant infestations and even walked into one of the buildings and the amount of flies that swarmed out of the door had me in complete shock. My best friend had his own apartment there and walking to his apartment you could see windows full of flies. Not to call a certain someone out but he had a neighbor under him that wouldn’t take her trash out. Cockroaches and ants spread from her apartment to his. And the cock roaches spread to others as well. The maintenance has the audacity to put a note on his door while we were there stating “We came by and no one was home. We’ll come back later.” As we were both sitting next to the door. I’d recommend anywhere else but here. This isn’t the commons I used to remember.

PART 2 - Parking is horrendous, quite often people will park in your spot or fellow tenants will have their friends park overnight in your spot forcing you to go back out on the main road and around the other side of the building just to park. Management is horrible, it was recently bought out by morgan properties (just as bad) the previous management here asked tenants to get on their google account and give the place a fake review, if you don't believe me go scroll down and look at all the reviews referencing Aqueelah because they are not real reviews they are copied and pasted in nearly the same grammar, hyphens and all. See Caleb O Conner and Ana Toner's review down below they are fake and copied and pasted -- this was to make this place easier for people to be inclined to apply not knowing what they are actually getting into. They will reel you in with $500 off your first months rent and not even give you a tour of the place. Run while you can, I hope this review saves you from years wasted and minds being abused. Me and my wife endured agony at this place for 2 years. Moving out of here was the best decision we ever made. Hopefully this review saves anyone from years of trouble. I already know how

PART 1 - Do not rent here AT ALL RUN WHILE YOU STILL CAN. This place is an absolute scam. If I could give 0 stars, I would. Please look at the photos and videos. PLEASE READ To start things off we lived here for 2 solid years, the quality of these apartments are severely outdated, dirty, and lack proper maintenance. You hear every single noise and bump through the walls, the walls here are paper thin. You can hear your neighbors conversing amongst each other or you will hear them when they get loud and begin arguing or grunting while they go number 2 on the toilet. Doors don't close all the way, light and outside air creeps through, and so do bugs. The ceiling in the hallways leaks water that literally drips all the way down to the mailboxes, and part of the top stairs. We had to install a ring camera that faces our cars because there was a couple occasions where random things would be vandalized on our cars like trim pieces or badges. My catalytic convertor was stolen one day and I ended having to replace the entire exhaust later on. Our first year here was horrid, the tenant below us and their son harassed me and my wife for months straight by blasting music through the walls and having their dogs bark and wake us up at 3am and get no sleep at night, many times were the police called and noise complaints made. Eventually one night the police came and arrested the unruly son who threatened me with violence trying to fight me over some music and was charged with menacing, it was only then the following summer (2024, we moved in oct 2023) they were evicted. Our second year was also terrible, after the tenant below was evicted. Another moved in and refused to take out their trash...like literally... which led to roaches and fruit flies entering into our unit and no matter how much we combatted them the source was down below and wasn't being removed. I had actually called the police on them one day because I came home and saw a ton of giant flies piled up on their patio door thinking maybe they are deceased inside but it was just their trash because when the police came they actually arrested the person for a warrant related to something else. This person would frequently toss their garbage in a bush on the corner of the unit instead of walking it to the dumpster. The vestibule and outer hallways have a bad odor and the laundry room area wreaks of human feces, the washers only have cold water and the dryers barely work. All the units have a severe roach infestation that management refused to take care for almost a year, by then the roaches got really bad which is the main reason we left. We had complained to management many times and they did absolutely nothing but lead us on, they would give a date for pest control and pest control would never come yet we got threatened to be charged $50 if we didn't let them inside, the video i have of the roaches was back in April we moved out in December and sadly we don't have any last month photos of the infestation but let me tell you, ITS DISGUSTING. They charged 1,200 after we moved out for basic things like carpet and repainting the walls, yet their maintenance guy doesn't know what he's doing. We had our thermostat break on accident and we brought the issue to the office, they said no problem don't even worry about it. The maintenance guy came to replace it and didn't know what he was doing so he went to a vacant unit and took the thermostat from there and then couldn't figure out how to program it to the furnace so he hopped on youtube to figure it out which took well over an hour. When it was working they billed us 150 when our rent came even though they said not to worry about it, why? Because the place is a scam lol.
