  Will not stand behind what they build. They delivered our home and said it was done and we could move in. It was over 4 inches in a 4 foot level out of level. Called them there guys came out and jacked up the low side till it was level. Trouble was the frame was twested and put a bind on everything and cracked the window on the back of the house. I have pictures of the axels that came out from under it. They broke the wheels off the ends of the axels that's how bad it was twisted. Also the hole roof was lose where the air got under the felt and lifted it up. They came worked on it but it had water coming inside the windows. They came out and but something under the edge to stop it from coming in the windows but it caused the water to go and lay on the sheeting and now it's rotting out and they will not do anything to fix it. And they say it's a maintenance problem. If they would have fixed it right this wouldn't have happened. You can tell it's twisted by looking at the siding. Don't ever sign off on anything till you get to live in it for at least a year. I will never have anything good to say about this company because of the way they have treated us. I have built lots of buildings and would be ashamed to show my face anywhere if I did work like these people do.

  We just bought a home through Clayton homes of Frazeysburg and through a stressful process of buying our first home I really don’t think we could’ve picked a better home center. The members of the team that we have worked with have been super quality and definitely go the extra mile to ensure things are taken care of. No process like this is ever going to be perfect but they all worked hard to smooth out any hiccups and make things easier for us. Although we worked with many members of their team, a rightful shoutout belongs to David Daniel’s our home consultant- he will literally answer texts or calls at any hour and ensures he follows up on needs or concerns. He truly knows his stuff and stays on top of everything! It didn’t matter how silly the question, he made time for it. He was also just a super nice guy and very easy to talk to. Maranda Shuster- she did all of our closing paperwork and worked tirelessly with our lender to get everything in order. Our lenders were not exactly organized and messed up a ton of things. Meranda stayed on top of them and jumped through many of their hoops with me to get things closed on time. She also calmed my nerves on a lot of things and answered my many, many questions so kindly! Brian Pinkerton- He did our welcome home process and went over our warranties with us/ maintenance requirements. When I say he went over absolutely everything, I mean everything!! He even gave us just general home owners tips and tricks that he didn’t have to. He was very willing to make sure we are 100% happy with our home and to help out with fixing anything that needed fixing after our homes long journey to our property. He was a very nice guy and extremely knowledgeable. Jake Zide the gm- although we didn’t work with him a ton in person, he was a huge part of all of the behind the scenes things. Had he not approved the price of our home and allowing us to do things the way we wanted then we probably would’ve went a different route. We are so excited to be able to move into our home soon tho and thankful that we did go this route! He was very much in our corner with making things work anyway he could. There were also others who helped along the process, like Sara for getting our finishing appointments scheduled and answering questions and also Todd for answering questions for me quickly if I just randomly called in. A lot of people will have a lot of negative things to say about Clayton homes, but it really does boil down to the home center you choose and the plant you go with to build your home. Choosing the right home center can really make or break your experience because they are your direct line for knowledge and help with any issues. This was an extensive process and I spent a lot of time talking with the members of this home center. I wasn’t always the easiest customer to deal with because I asked A LOT of questions so that we fully understood what we were getting ourselves into every step of the way. I was super cautious knowing our babies would be raised in this home- but they all did a wonderful job! The biggest flex they had tho was not trying to upsell us. They made sure to not only stay within our budget but really find us our perfect home within our budget. I would highly recommend this team. Without them our dream of a home on our beautiful property in the middle of nowhere would not be a reality!

  I would like to say Dave was a fantastic salesman answered ever question and help us understand more about buying a home from Clayton and he is very intelligent when it comes to helping out on design and construction of there homes there I will definitely be buying a home from him

  The process of buying a home is not a breeze as some people think , but with the staff at Clayton Homes they made the challenges less stressful! . From the first time mom and I met with Dave Daniels he took his time and helped us to find the most perfect home for us . Always was checking on us to see if we needed anything and how the loan process was doing . He was with us throughout the whole process , and if we did need help with something he would always come through ! He really cares about his customers !!! My mom became terminally I'll throughout the loan process and when it was time to close they accommodated for her being in the hospital sending a notary so we could close on time . The staff in a whole were always friendly , down to earth and made us very comfortable greeting us when we came in to meet with any one of them. I can't say anything but great things about the staff at Clayton Homes and would highly recommend them to help you find your dream home and help you through the whole process! It may of been a long process , but it was well worth it !
